The perfect getaway for a family looking to pair escape with comfort.
This was our third trip to Landliebe and we stayed for a week. We just love this farm, it is so magical with all the animals and beautiful views. We love the swimming pool with sun loungers where you can sit and look over the valley knowing you are the last people on the mountain, no other farms between you and the mountain top. We had our dogs with us and they loved the big garden, and we felt secure enough to leave them when heading out for a mountain bike ride. They also loved the walk to the waterfall, swimming in the farm dam, and especially watching the lambs, geese, horses, and donkeys from the stoep. Other highlights were the Panaram walk through the proteas with amazing views, and especially the owner was so kind and accommodating. She even took us for an incredible sunset ride on the quadbike. Horse riding is also offered; they have 5 beautiful horses. We felt that the house and beds were comfy enough and that we had what we needed to cook and braai, and a large fridge is a bonus too. We will be back for a fourth trip for sure.

The view was breathtaking. Neatly clean and the photos you see on the web do not do the place justice.
Had a great time on the farm! Children really enjoyed it among the animals. The hiking trails are very beautiful and the children were also able to walk them easily. We also took our two dogs with us, the fenced house is ideal.
Within the first hour of arriving, it felt like we'd been there for a while. Such beautiful, relaxing surroundings and a lovely cottage with everything you need for your stay. We will definitely book for longer next time so that we can make the most of all there is to do.
Don't know who enjoys it more, us or the kids. It was so nice and peaceful, the children fed the animals, swam, and swam down the river. Any child's dream. And they were so tired in the evening and went to bed early. Any parent's dream.
Country love is beautiful in the mountains. There are easy and difficult hiking trails. There are many farm animals to feed and watch. Remember enough carrots to feed the horses and donkeys.

What a magical spot! We absolutely loved our weekend away. The cottage is perfect with everything you need. The farm is beautiful with amazing views and places to hike and explore. The waterfall is just spectacular and our Pepper loved the open spaces and adventuring. It was just what we needed to relax and unwind. Thank you Gail!
The cottages are perfectly furnished and we could easily have wanted to stay there for a week. Lots to do. Beautiful pond, swimming pool, hiking trails to the waterfall etc. Accommodation was very clean and tidy. We booked 2 cottages and were able to visit again and again. It's a hidden gem just outside Tulbagh!

Beautiful peaceful surroundings. Hiking trails that are easy to do with small kids. Beautiful rustic cottage, bedding could have been better quality and more crisp but otherwise great.
