28 guests' feedbackThe stable was very neat and clean with all necessities taken care of. Very friendly reception and no complaints. Definitely a place to rest your soul. Day 1's walking route was challenging but definitely worth it.
We were pleasantly surprised! It's the best value for money if you love a rural environment! Comfortably furnished, everything you need and more, nice long dining table for meals, interesting decor, and in a beautiful setting of the North East Free State. Slept nice and warm. However, it would be better to receive a pin from the turn-off location than from the Stable itself.
Unfortunately the weather was unpleasant, but the fireplace made up for it. We definitely want to go back. Great for cycling and mountain climbing. Lovely house with the most beautiful view.
We really enjoyed our time at Langeberg. Everything was nice clean and tidy and is excellent value for money. We would love to go there again.
Nice close to Johannesburg, didn't drive far. Very affordable and the accommodation has everything you need with a wonderful view and nice fireplace when it was cold.
We love this place and it was our 2nd visit and will definitely visit Riana again.
Due to the nature of my visit (hunting in the area) it would have been nice to have a lock up safe on the premises. We truly love the solitude, stunning landscape and the peace and quiet. We will visit Langberg any time again.
Maybe warn customers with small cars about the last 2km of road, it could be a problem.
What a beautiful setting and exceptionally beautiful hiking trail over the mountain. Very well planned to share the most beautiful with us as walkers. We were 16 hikers and Riana met us with extra accommodation which we appreciated incredibly. Everyone agreed, what a lovely weekend of visiting and walking. Thanks to Langberg's hostess.
We stay in The Stall, rustic, but nice and clean. The owners were very helpful and made us feel at home.
For people who love adventure I'd definitely recommend this area and there's a hiking trail as well. It's great.
The owner, Riana, gave us a warm welcome. The house we slept in surprised us. Nice big, nice view of the mountains, fresh air, beautiful stars in the evening. We had a great time on the farm. Our 6-year-old boy took his bike with him and had fun riding around. It was so much fun, we want to go again and bring friends. Ten out of ten for you!

The Northern Freestate landscape is and views are incredible. The accommodation is clean and has all the necessary amenities. We didn't miss TV at all. The dams look well, but we couldn't go fishing.
What a special weekend it was. Ideal if you just want to find yourself again. The road is a bit difficult to venture with a small car but definitely worth the effort. Thank you Riana, Wessel and even the neighbor Gert.

It was practical for a large group of people (The Stable). "Rustic" but clean and well equipped.
We got lost initially, but the owner was very helpful in that regard. The house we stayed in is very clean and neat with a beautiful view. Our two year old was just a bit bored, so I wouldn't recommend to guests with young children. Rested well.
My family, my wife and I, teenaged daughter, twins of 7 months and 2 Jack Russels, were looking for a hideaway for new year's. We found at at Langberg Events. Beautiful, peaceful farm setup. Comfortable accommodation and adequate facilities to braai and prepare meals. Stunning nature. A microwave would have been nice.
Just not for serious fishing, but definitely for relaxing.
Riana is very friendly. My husband and I enjoyed the walk with Riana's dogs. Highly recommended for a relaxing weekend getaway.

We had a great stay, everything is clean and tidy, would recommend it to anyone.
We were aware of the cold this time of year and therefore we decided on the spot. However, the showers were not to our liking as you could either only get hot or only cold water and it is extremely impractical to shower in either icy water or steaming hot water. We really enjoyed the tranquility close to nature.
We had a great stay, and the mountain the cottages are on is worth its weight in gold - amazing view and great hiking opportunities. We were disappointed with the trout - don't think there are many in the ponds. Nevertheless, we had a great stay and will even return there. A very peaceful farm break just 2.5 hours from Johannesburg!
We went to relax and recharge our batteries. That's exactly what we did. No rush, quiet and beautiful natural scenes. Kloofsig chalet overlooks kloof. Chalet well furnished with everything you need. We are going there again in December. We recommend them.
