Nice stay, but I only wish that it was indicated in advance that the second bedroom is only accessible through the first bedroom. It would also be nice if extras like coffee, milk, sugar and laundry pegs were available.
Privacy was a bit difficult. You walk through one bedroom to the other. My husband and I took the room that has a window that can be opened. As a result, my daughter and her boyfriend had to walk around our room all the time. There was also no mirror in our room, which made hair blowing difficult. Fridge is very small for five people. Furthermore, everything was clean and tidy. Adelé gave us filter paper, which helped a lot.
We had a wonderful stay. Everything we needed was available, even a gas kettle and emergency lights for during load shedding times.
It was good, the area is quiet and safe. The accommodation is very neat and has good security.

It's was amazing value for money, one of the best places I stayed.
A big bonus was the bath and shower in the bathroom, as well as the safe, private garden for our dogs. For coffee and cooking there is a gas stove during load shedding and also an LED light. My husband just couldn't have used his CPAP machine during load shedding. However, this is not a deal breaker and I can confidently recommend Anchor Down. Thanks Adele and Gary.

My family and I will use Anchor's Down again, we had a very nice stay and were nice especially if you wanted peace and quiet. Thank you very much for the wonderful service and the love that was given to our puppy when we were not there.
Adele our host was very friendly, warm and welcoming. She took extra care to ensure we are comfortable during load shedding by supplying additional LED lights and gas facilities.

Adele and Gary are both very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is clean, tidy and there are items such as charcoal, milk, etc. available if required for a reasonable fee. Vehicle is behind a locked gate. There are shops nearby and Langebaan Beach is not far from the accommodation. We will definitely come back again.
Quality beds to sleep on, feel rested the next morning. Friendly neighbors, very quiet environment and cute home business bookstore around the corner from cottage. Amazing hosts!

There are indeed 2 bedrooms, but access to the rooms share an entrance. You walk through one room to access the second one. There are sliding doors that cannot be opened, and they are taped so you have no view. The hostess was very nice. She welcomed us warmly and everything was in place.

The place is clean, tidy and well furnished. Good quality bed linen and towels are provided. However, there could be a little more facilities to make it more convenient for guests - e.g. bedside lights are missing and no provision has been made for load shedding. The kitchen stock can also be replenished. For 3 people, the breakware is quite limited. But still value for money.
The unit was clean and very comfortable. Adele went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The goat next to the house was definitely a plus point. I highly recommend Langebaan Anchor's Down.
