Very friendly and accommodating. Very comfortable apartments.
It was very pleasant as usual. Close to everything and very tidy. All that was missing were tongs for the coals and tongs to turn and remove your meat. It wasn't there. Other than that, everything was perfect.
The atmosphere is very nice. I will definitely go again.
Place Mint cottage just big enough for two. Nothing more needed. Close to shops and walking distance from the beach. Will definitely stay there again.

Thyme is excellent for two people. Very neat and clean and well equipped. The only problem is that half the gas braai is broken and very definitely not usable for a braai - it will need to be replaced, especially with the upcoming festive season in mind.
No sports channels available. No wifi. Password didn't work.
Unfortunately, my break started on a low note. The directions sent to my cellphone took me to a different location. This can be confirmed with the reception at the hotel when I eventually made my way there. During my search for the venue, I made contact with the host, Emily, as per the message, but she informed me she no longer works for the company and referred me to the hotel. At the hotel, the reception referred me to reservations, who indicated that she doesn't know the physical address of the hotel nor the cottages. Highly irritated, I abandoned my search, as we were running late for an event at this stage.
Parking in front of the unit makes it more convenient. Workplace available and good bedding.
All was good, hot water in shower was no good. Cold showers in the winter are not nice.

The room was comfortable and just right for two people. The location is excellent. Close to everything and walking distance.
We spent one night here in the Lemon cottage. Pets are welcome and we had two dachshunds with us. Nice private porch with braai! Around the corner from a bar, Spar, bakery, restaurants and the lagoon beach! Everything you need is available in the apartment, even an iron. Will definitely stay here again.
One feels safe and Spencer, who looks after the cottages, is an absolute star. We had a great time and had a great stay.
We enjoyed the stay. The location is superb. Our unit, Mint, was a touch on the small side. The plastic shower curtains at the entrance door need to be rethought. In my opinion, tacky and impractical.

Beautiful location, host did not communicate efficiently. Maintenance entered the apartment while we where out, I was not informed. Water in the bathroom was always cold.
We had a nice stay. However, the host doesn't communicate well. I had to message her for details on where to get the key and what to do next. When we arrived, the place was filled with smoke and had a lingering smoke smell. The kitchen was mouldy and the curtains were filthy with black marks, as well as the little mat. Additionally, the place is not secure as the roller gate and the gate from our cottage were left open during the night, causing them to bang throughout the night. I informed the host about all of these issues, but she read my message and never replied. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place until these issues are addressed.
Lovely spacious cottage! Neat, comfortable, everything at hand. Restaurants, spa, shops, pharmacy and beach all within walking distance within minutes. Even cleaning services available, fresh bed linen, towels, etc. It's a see you again for sure!

We have stayed in Rosemary Cottage on a previous occasion and this time in Mint Crash Pad. We definitely prefer the former to the latter.
We stayed at Lemon cottage, very pretty but I would suggest a lock on the front gate for security reasons. Anyone from the road can enter the premises there is also no purpose in locking the security pedestrian gate that is in one with the driveway gate as that can just slide open. I had to continuously close it after the younger guests.
Within walking distance of the town center and beach. But we were unpleasantly surprised with the "container kite pod" right in front of the master bedroom window and the fact that we could hear every word of the kite pod's guests. I am very disappointed with the placement of the kite pod against the master bedroom window of the Rosemary Cottage - especially as the kite pod is not indicated on the map of the Kite Cottages. I specifically booked Rosemary cottage because it was set aside on the larger site. The noise of the metal is deafening when moving around in the pod and we could hear every word the guests were saying. It was a huge disappointment! I will think twice before booking again.
The cottage is excellent, clean and modern with all amenities, and in a great location, so all of that is highly recommended. However, the unit is attached to several other units (semi-detached), and the common walls are paper thin. The occupants of the adjoining unit decided at 11pm to start a very loud and raucous party, which continued until the early hours of the morning. We called hotel reception several times to report this but no-one answered any of the calls. Efforts to get the party to dial down the music were also unsuccessful. The result was a horrible night for us. Given that these units are far away from the main hotel, and that all of them adjoin each other, the Farmhouse Hotel must make more effort to ensure that all guests staying there enjoy their stay and are not unduly disturbed by other guests in adjoining units. So overall, a great accommodation facility, but its a high risk booking as one cannot predict who the neighbours will be and how they will behave.
The location is truly excellent. Close to the eateries and close to the main beach. Lemmon Cottage is well maintained and functionally furnished. We were not aware that the keys and codes had to be collected from the Farmhouse Hotel in advance.
I wanted to stay in the cottages as a child and now I did with my little girl. Was nice and central and close to town.
The place is nice modern and clean, as well as nice and close to the shops and beach. But one negative aspect of the Mint Cottage is that the curtains need replacing. There are currently three plastic shower curtains hanging that obstruct privacy.
The security gate is actually open all night.
A note: In the confirmation email, the instructions to pick up the key at The Farmhouse Hotel gave the wrong spelling of the street name, something like Ergit Street instead of Egret Street, so it required googling to find the right address. It would also be useful to make this instruction more prominent instead of having it right at the end of the longish email.
Thyme Studio Cottage was a very well appointed and comfortable place to stay. It had everything we needed.
The place is extremely small and inconvenient.
One of our favorite getaway weekends! The fact that our puppy could holiday together was a highlight. You will definitely see us again in the future!

Pictures are misleading. The room is smaller than on the picture. The lighting has also changed which has a big influence on the atmosphere of the room. It is a cold room without any sunlight. During summer this could be nice. We had to keep the heater on 24/7. Table lamps will contribute to the ambience. Kitchen is good, bathroom also good except for light bulbs missing which sent me to the lounge to do my make up. We missed DStv. We stayed for two nights. I think a bit overpriced.
Lemon studio was the perfect location for me. It was a tranquil and relaxing experience and definitely good for ones soul or just to reconnect with oneself. Will definitely be back on my next trip to South Africa.
The doorlock needs to be replaced, it kept on getting stuck. They need better lighting in the bathroom, the light over the mirror had no bulbs in it. The drain outlet in the shower seemed to be partially blocked. The water drained rather slow, which forces the water to run into the bathroom itself. You'll be needing a lip at the door opening of the shower base. Water also ran underneath the glass on the floor. It obviously has not been sealed properly. The foot towel was soaked when we arrived at the studio. We also had to use the face towel to keep the water in the shower. The last one is the bird in the roof.
We had a great stay, everything was neat and beautiful.
Definitely a place we would recommend to friends and family to visit.
Overslept two nights. Traffic is quite noisy at night. Starlings in the roof made late sleep impossible. The place is very neat, well equipped, and close to all the restaurants and the main beach. However, we think that for the same money or even cheaper, we could have found similar accommodation with a sea view.
