I stayed with my mother in the Paddock Suite. We were absolutely overwhelmed by the beautiful gardens, huge green trees and the tranquility that the surroundings offer. A host of butterflies fluttered around the garden making it look like something out of a fairy tale book. The suite has large windows that let the beautiful garden flow in and complimented the stylish interior. There is comfortable seating outside for a delicious alfresco meal as well as a fire pit for socializing. The kitchen was well equipped for self catering. A short and comfortable walk takes you to the river and waterfall. We will pay a visit there again as soon as possible. Thank you so much Diana for your beautiful treasure that you so generously share with everyone. What a blessing.
Nestled amongst trees and surrounded by paddocks, this is a wonderful location. The sound of a stream nearby and twittering birds is all you hear. Most restful.
The Cabin in the Woods is well equipped and with lovely views and situated in a quiet, somewhat rustic environment, the ideal place for a time-out to enjoy nature, squirrels, horses, and trees. Yet, it is closely situated to Stellenbosch, Somerset-West, Strand and Cape Town. Friendly and helpful. Di ensured a comfortable stay too.

From our arrival Dianna was the real hostess. Circumstances were difficult because the heavy rain that hit the Cape. Dianna tried to help us with things like boiling water, flashlights and a shower in another cottage that had gas. There was no power on site because the power supply in Stellenbosch was down.
Myself and my bestie stayed over at Paddocks Cottage for a girls' night of chatting and relaxing. The owner was so welcoming and helpful. The cottage was quaint and pretty, very comfortable. The property is gorgeous with a river on the back boundary (you can hear it and see it but cannot access it), huge established trees and a lovely diverse garden. We took a walk to greet the horses and would have ended the evening with wine by the outside fire pit if the rain didn't interfere. The beds were comfy. I recommend this place if you are seeking peace, quiet and natural beauty.
Lovely stay. Was amazing to have solar and not experience any loadshedding. Loved having the cute doggo's around on the premises. Beautiful garden. Tranquil sounds of the river during the night. Good, safe location close to wine farms.

Staying at The Cabin in the woods was magical. The views of the trees in the forest, sounds of the birds and horses right outside our door were calming and peaceful. Such a magical place to be! We will definitely be back!
Diana accommodated me and my son in the cottage by making 2 single beds. The cottage was spacious, neat and comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful big trees, dogs, horses, squirrels and the whole atmosphere. We can definitely recommend staying at Languedoc.

Everything you need, beautifully and stylishly furnished, peaceful atmosphere for wonderful relaxation. Nicely located close to town center and wine farms. Uber picked us up and dropped us off at the gate with no problems. Thank you Di, it was really a wonderful 3 days at your cabin in the woods.
