We were there for ten days, and it was great. Comfortably furnished with everything we needed, and only ninety steps to the beach! Our "landlady" was available 24/7 if we needed anything, and she was great.

The unit is neat and clean. The braai facilities are just misleading, because there is no braai place and the braai is on a Weber and not a real braai. We were told we could just barbecue outside the front door, but it's practically on the street and no shelter or privacy. So if you barbecue there, everyone who walks or drives by can see you. If you don't intend to barbecue, the place is good. The hostess may also just invest in an electric blanket or thicker bedding for the winter, because it is cold in the evenings and the blankets will not be sufficient if it is really winter. It was already very cold in the evenings.

Friendly host, comfortable accommodation. Being from Gauteng leaves one rather anxious about parking your car overnight in the street, but it was fine.
Due to no outside facilities such as braai etc. you either stayed indoors or found activities to keep you occupied during the day. Lovely coastline 100 m from the accommodation so lots of outside nature to enjoy.

Lambertsbaai is always a nice tourist attraction, with their restaurants on the harbour. We only stayed overnight. Top priority is always a clean bed and a hot shower. In the event a bath but not a problem. We could sleep peacefully with no noise at night. I will go there again at night.
If I may make a suggestion? To change the beds or put in new mattresses or maybe put sponges on the mattress. And to strengthen the legs of the bed, the bed is very lumbar. A good bed is important, you want to rest when you are on holiday.
Affordable accommodation, clean, near most amenities.
No enclosure and no label, it is very cold and facilities not up to standard.

Well, it's winter and near the sea, so it would be cold, but it was fantastic.
The toilet is in the master bedroom and there is only 1 bathroom. The beds you sleep on are so hard you toss and turn all night. My husband and I already walked to the beach before 7 in the morning because you can't even sleep a little late. I love Lambertsbaai with its friendly people and its beach. Walking on the beach at 7 in the morning is lovely. Breathing in the fresh sea air and their exercise facilities in the park is nice.
The guest house very neat. The hostess and family very friendly and helped us with description of attractions and layout of surroundings. They were wonderful guest house owners in every way.

Being close to the ocean, it was lovely to hear the waves breaking on the shore. Sonia was a lovely host. However, the front door is on the street and we were often troubled by hawkers, beggars and job seekers.
Will book there again. We had a problem with the pesky peddlers hanging around there.
I would recommend people to stay there. It is central there is enough space.
Was a bit uneasy at first because we had to park our boat and bakkie in the street, but fortunately it is a quiet street that is at least safe. No shower or flat screen TV, still using regular TV. The location is good, because it's close to everything and also close to the sea. Sonia was strict because my husband had to leave promptly at 10:00 in the morning so he didn't want to stay there his last night or go to the sea. Languedoc is not suitable for fishermen, but would be OK for families wanting to stay over for a night or two, but no longer.

Being from the city I was concerned about off-street parking, but my vehicle was safe. I will definitely do the trip again. The price is right. Location is not too close and not too far from the beach. The flat has everything one requires for your stay.
We however found cockroaches in the accommodation.
We were warmly received and enjoyed our time there.
Stay was definitely special, would just recommend that they keep an eye on what characters are walking around because we were a bit worried about our vehicle having to be parked outside in the road. Unfortunately it's just part of our society now to live under lock and key, but otherwise everything was absolutely fantastic.
Although Lilliputian in size, our en-suite self catering apartment was clean, well equipped and centrally located. And it even had a sea view which we really didn't expect for the price.
We made our reservation on short notice. Sonia immediately welcomed us via WA and let us know that she could meet us outside town to take us to the location. Luckily we were able to get there on our own, where Sonia welcomed us and showed us everything. She also told us to contact her if we needed anything. There is enough information in the manual that Sonia has put together to inform guests of places to visit or see. Be sure to eat at Isabella's and if you happen to be in Lamberts Bay over the weekend, make a reservation at Muisboskerm for a meal of a lifetime.
Languedoc is not suitable for more than just overnight.

We will return anytime! Owner is very concerned about her guests. A few days before our arrival she called and wished us a safe journey. On our arrival she informed us about all the attractions and places to eat in the town and that at that moment whales were visible from our unit, it was a real experience. The owner stopped by the unit every day to hear if everything was okay and if we felt safe and warm. When we wanted to braai she provided us with a braai. Even when we wanted to barbecue on the beach she provided us with a beach grill. Everything in one unit that one needs for a nice quiet getaway without too much noise and tourists. The unit is nicely centrally located and very tidy.
The pre-meeting communication was absolutely amazing, on arrival the welcoming was no surprise based on the communication, the cottage was clean and very neat, cosy setting and fully equipped. Makes one feel like your home. Love love love it.

The accommodation is not for large groups. If you are one or two people, it is sufficient. Vehicle had to park in the street before the stay, but there was no safety. It is an interesting destination with Muisbosskerm just a short distance out of town and Bird Island which is a must visit. Luckily the birds were there this time and we were able to watch the spectacle. People are very friendly and helpful.

I will not book there again. I especially gave feedback about the bed. The construction is actually brewing and definitely the second worst place I have slept in the last 2 years. For that money definitely expect something better. Just to sleep and shower nothing more than R290 worth. Reception was friendly and the place was clean. You hear the waves and see the sea up close when you walk out the door.
No braai facilities, no ventilation with closed window, mattress is pathetic. Stovetops get hot but couldn't even boil water. Toilet uncomfortably too close to wall. Front door opens and closes with difficulty. Parking dangerous. Not as advertised. After one night fed up and home.
Accommodation does not have shower facilities, main bedroom door cannot close, apartment on the road with no privacy. Main bedroom bed cracks terribly.

The place where we stayed was nice and big and enough space for all of us! The kitchenette is also equipped with all the necessary utensils. We talked so much that it felt like we were friends. The place is walking distance from the sea and very safe. We will go back for sure. And would recommend it for sure, especially for families with small kids.

Lovely place. Clean and tidy. Near the sea. I would only recommend that a soft memory foam layer be placed over double bed mattress, mattress hurts body. And security gate inside the door because door can be forced open with a bump and electronic belongings can be stolen and while one is inside the outside door can be left open. The area is safe but with the door facing the street (Note the street is quiet) it would be nice if there was a gate that you could close if you wanted to take a nap with the door open. Owner is in the process of making improvements that will solve the problem. Would definitely recommend the stay and is good value for money.
We couldn't have chosen a better place to sleep after a wedding a few kilometers from Lamberts Bay. We were a bit early at Languedoc, but no problem. Nice shower before the wedding in the late afternoon. After the wedding, a lovely night's sleep close to the sea. Couldn't have asked for better.
The units have everything one needs for a stay from one day to several days. The units are clean and tidy. The bed is comfortable and the space spacious. It wasn't our first time and certainly won't be our last.

I suppose I only gave a three for location because its not facing the sea but its only a block away so a little walk won't hurt. But the management was friendly and helpful, the accommodation was large and super clean. There is some very good restaurants in walking distance, we saw whales in the harbour. It's a very nice place to stay, but without a shower facility with only a bath, my back hurt again because my back ailment There were only three of us, but the place can accommodate six people, which with one bathroom with one toilet in it can cause inconvenience.
Would've like a shower and possibly another bedroom because many people can sleep there. Lounge chairs also missing and had to park car in the street which was a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise everything was good.

The place may not look like much from the outside but is very nice clean and tidy inside and has everything you need. The kitchen is very well equipped, there was even a black pot for potjeskos if one wanted to try it. Sonja was very hospitable and called early to say the place was ready if we might want to check in earlier and since she didn't have guests the next night she was also very kind to let us check out much later. A little attention to small detail can give the place a more luxurious feel e.g. a bedside lamp by the bed and maybe a candle or two around the bath.

Very clean and tidy. You can easily walk to the beach and shops. You can see the sea from the premises.
The accommodation is situated within walking distance to the beach and sea. Although the owner advised the area is safe, the door entering the unit from the street could be more sturdy, and with a double-lock. The unit, utensils and facilities were clean. Large bathroom and shower. It would be great to have some mats on the tiled floors to keep away the winter chill, and a nice thick duvet on the bed will add a more cosy and inviting appearance, especially during the winter months. Nonetheless we had a good stay!
Languedoc is a good choice for a nice visit with your family or a few friends. I'm already planning to spend a weekend there with girlfriends. Good job Sonia!
The hostess was very friendly and helpful. However, the unit only has a single bathroom (in the master bedroom) with a bathroom door that struggles to close, the bedding was very thin and inadequate for a cold winter's evening and the place, furniture and bedding could definitely do with some attention and upgrade. The unit was also freezing cold and there was no heater to warm the unit. Would not recommend the stay, especially on a cold winter's evening. The location of the bathroom is very uncomfortable.
When booking, we informed the owners in advance that we will be 3 families, with children. We booked two units. A house that sleeps 8 people for our two families (2 couples, each with 2 children) and a detached unit for the other family also with 2 children. The house only has a bathroom in the master bedroom, without a door - resulting in no privacy for bathroom use. The detached unit for the other family, which charges the same fees as the house, is a room only. There is not enough space for 2 children and cannot be booked as a unit for 4. There is a sofa bed smaller than a single bed, possibly suitable for a child under 2 years. The service is extremely good and staff are extremely helpful, but the advertisement is misleading, quality of towels and bedding is poor. There is absolutely no playground, or place to sit outside, There is no veranda for braai. Any outside activities are really in the street. There are not the DVDs and DStv that are advertised.

The room had everything we needed. The hostess received us in a friendly way and showed us everything. The kitchen corner is very well equipped. There is even a big freezer, probably for fishermen with a big catch. We could walk to the restaurants and the ocean is just a few meters further.

Languedoc had everything we needed for a getaway from the city. Friday night till Sunday morning the area was deathly quiet, the gulls are all that you fall asleep and wake up to. We made breakfast in the kitchen and everything was there, obviously you take your weekend food with. We bought fish and made use of the nice big freezer in the room. Hot water with every shower even though they told us beforehand that the geysers are shut off. I will definitely go back and we will make a big group booking there so that we can stay in one block and have a good time all together. Sonja is very friendly and made us strangers feel very welcome in Lamberts Bay for the very first time.
Languedoc Verblyf is well situated. - in the heart of Lambert's Bay. We had to leave early, and the owner also woke up that time to see us off, Will definitely visit again when in Lambert's Bay.
Wow! What a fantastic hostess. The place was clean, and I mean clean, beds very comfortable. We took our granddaughter with, without a booking and within 5 mins. a bed was brought in and made up for her, nothing was too much. The owners treated us as though we were in a 5* hotel. They suggested places to go visit, like Bird Island, told us where to get the best meat, meals and even which hairdresser to use and I was thrilled with my hair. The one place we did not ask her about turned out to be the least enjoyable experience .I was looking to eat Crayfish, she recommended a restaurant, but instead we went to Muisboskerm, what a disappointment @ R285.pp not enjoyable at all. The flat is really clean and well equipped, the hosts welcoming and friendly. We also have timeshare, but she beat some very, very well known places. They must be the most considerate hosts we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. Will most certainly be going back.

The roof of the room we stayed in is terribly low. We are both tall, but there are sure to be people taller than us who will bump their heads!
We were able to find our destination very easily with the help of your map available. All the arrangements were good and the reception by our hostess was friendly and very helpful. The area appeared very safe for the period we stayed there. Everything was neat and clean. Many thanks also for the safe parking, because it's always a headache. All the shops we needed were close enough. There is also no shortage of attractions and restaurants. You will definitely see us again next year!

4 perfect days. We just didn't get clean towels and the bin was never emptied. We were only provided with towels after we requested it. Otherwise the unit was neat and comfy. Close to everything. We will definitely be back.
The room we stayed in was clean, but the bed was uncomfortable. The ceiling was very low and I hit my head on the light screen a few times. When you go out the door, you are on the sidewalk. Parking is on the street, although the owner indicated it is safe. The braai facilities are still under development, but we were offered a Weber to braai in front of the room if we wanted (but it would be on the sidewalk). All the windows are on the sidewalk, so opening them feels dangerous because anyone can stick their arm in there and remove things from the table. The bathroom/toilet window is toilet height and also on the sidewalk, so opening it wasn't really an option. The restaurant in Lamberts Bay serves good food and is worth visiting. We were lucky to get into the Muisbos Screen and it was an experience and value for money.
