It was comfortable and clean and we enjoyed sundowners on the wide verandah overlooking a well-kept garden. The hostess prepared a meal for us so we could relax and not have to venture out.
Man, this is a nice place to stay, would definitely recommend it. Here you can rest and explore the town in the summer.

Lapidaria offers luxury accommodation in a beautiful Victorian house. Spacious rooms, good beds with firm mattresses contribute to a wonderful stay.
Lapidaria is a beautiful guesthouse. We were kindly welcomed and wished we could have stayed longer. It is very conveniently located and we were able to walk through the town. It is close to the restaurants and they also provide meal options, braai facilities etc. Although we only slept over we could have easily stayed there for a few days!

At Lapidaria you can almost play tennis in the rooms, they are so big. Very nicely furnished, the bathroom is huge and beautiful. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, charming house. There is also a great billiards room, should you be interested. I can't imagine that there is anything better available in Willowmore. Friendly people and top notch accommodation.

Lapidaria Guest House is in an old house with loads of character. The rooms are huge, spotlessly clean and fitted with every modern convenience. It is a short walk to the main road where there are shops and restaurants. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Lapidaria to anybody spending the night in Willowmore.
We were on route to Johannesburg, and the accommodation was awesome. A lovely wide stoep to sit on and relax. The set up was a bit different to what I have exprienced before, we had to buy our meals and drinks from the Kapoet Cafe in town and then the meals were prepared for us by the Lapidaria staff. All the staff and the shopwowner were exceptionally freindly. The bedrooms were magnificent, the bathrooms perfect, so all in all no complaints.

I traveled with two small dogs and the management was very helpful in accommodating them. I was also able to store frozen products in their freezer which helped a lot in the heat of the summer. Would definitely recommend them and stay there again.
We had such a good time. The rooms are large, beautifully done and thought out. The air-conditioning was a blessing during an incredibly hot day. Hosts were so helpful and efficient. If ever I need to stay in Willowmore, I would look no further than Lapidaria. So unbelievably worth it!
The house and rooms are beautiful and spacious. We requested dinner in advance and got the most delicious farm food and marshmallow pudding. It was mentioned that we should not leave anything valuable in our car during the evening, as there are burglaries everywhere in town mainly to steal food and valuables. But we didn't feel unsafe at all. We ate breakfast at Kapoet Padstal. It was so good that we ate there again when we returned from our holiday. Kapoet's boerewors is a winner! Mercy, but Joacobi and Hennie hit the nail on the head here at Lapidaria. They went out of their way to get around our very busy work schedule and help us on every level. It was a relief and a pleasure to turn up at Lapidaria every night for a week. We came in at night between 18:00 and 23:00 and left in the morning between 5:00 and 7:30, no problem for them. Top people, top place, top service. Thank you very much Lapidaria!

We had a wonderful stay. It's just freezing cold and the "aircon" in our room didn't work. There was a warm blanket on our bed. In the other room there were no warm blankets on the beds. There were indeed 2 in the closet, which the guests then put on the beds themselves, but none for the third bed. It is a beautiful house and the interior decoration is also very beautiful. The hostess (Rona) was very cute and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was very nice. All that bothered me was that there is no burglar alarm, and we didn't feel quite as safe in the evening (especially not after hearing that the house had been broken into just the week before). We will stay there again and will also recommend it to other people.

We had a very nice night there. If you come from Johannesburg and you're always paranoid about safety, and always having trouble sleeping because of the gate that's not locked or the car that hasn't been completely unpacked.

We really appreciated having both a fan and air-con as it was summer. Also, being able to have supper there the evening we arrived after a long drive was great and then we could eat out in Willowmore on our second evening. Hennie and staff were very helpful and made us feel at home.

It was definitely the best I have ever found in a small town and is actually better than many luxury hotels in big cities.
The guest house was a pleasant surprise and situated in a quiet area with beautiful garden. The en suite room is spacious and clean with attention to detail: clean white towels, tea and coffee facilities and enough pillows. The bedside table lamps are very pretty, but unfortunately not functional for bedtime reading. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful and allowed me to use the freezer and even brought a small fridge to the room for our exclusive use.
What a lovely cremation in this small town, Willowmore. We started our evening's stay with a delicious meal, a wonderful night's rest And finished with a delicious breakfast.
