1 guests' feedbackIt's only a 2km dirt road to the house, it's a short distance, but part of the inner road to the house has been strewn with stones & broken bricks to prevent the road from washing away. However, there are a lot of sharp rocks and of course I lost a tire on my car. Other than that, I was able to drive the road with ease. A small vehicle may struggle, especially with the many embankments on the road. The one toilet leaked terribly and we had to wipe the floor dry every now and then. Unbelievably many spiders inside the house. The wall plug in one room does not work at all. We ourselves are on a game farm and the tranquility was therefore wonderful, but the house is very old and so is its furniture. It's actually a typical hunter's house where men might not care if there's an egg pan in the kitchen or not. I don't really think the house is worth R4900 a day. It's a beautiful place and very peaceful, but for R4900 a day one would have expected a little more. Might invest in a fan or 2 for the house and maybe also a gate remote control for when you want in and out so you don't have to call every time for someone to open the gate. was very helpful and except for the facts above, we had a wonderful overnight stay. Thank you very much.
