We felt welcomed from the start. Our whole family slept well in comfortable and warm beds. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow us to swim. Thank you so much for babysitting our Yorkie while we were out all day. Lots of love from the Moolmans.
Access to the room is inconvenient. Parking is limited. Coffee/tea and rusks/biscuits are advertised as part of the service. On arrival, there was 1 rusk and 5 biscuits. These were eaten between the two of us and not replenished. I m not hard up for a few rusks - it just speaks to the level of attention to detail.
Had a great time. Comfortable, well equipped, safe and beautiful garden to visit. We will definitely stay there again.

Place was ok, reception was friendly and that's also when we saw them. Loading is not very clean. Could have made a little more effort.
The lodge is not close to the parking lot and could be a problem for someone who has difficulty walking. There is also no DStv and the place really needs some attention, but we slept wonderfully on the bed. It is very difficult for me to walk and my husband's eyesight is also very poor so we had quite a bit of trouble walking the short distance to the lodge.
Neat, enough space and you have your privacy and everything and more that one needs, thank you very much.

What a wonderful experience. Large, spacious chalet. Everything you need to relax after a long drive. WiFi to use. The price was fantastic. I tell everyone about this gem I discovered. Because my children live overseas, I often travel to Port Elizabeth for Visas. Lavender Cottages will definitely see me again. The chalet smells fantastic.

Would like to use the accommodation next year when we come to the dog shows as it was only a few minutes from the venue. We heard no noise from the traffic and it was very secure with the electric fence. What was very nice is that we had a full size fridge and a proper stove and microwave.

I have just returned from my third stay at Lavender Garden Cottage. It is the perfect little cottage with everything one needs ─ from a comfy bed with good linen to a well-equipped kitchenette and a great shower. Best, however, is the quiet and private setting. Like your own little house; especially with two well-trained pets stopping to say hello. The hosts are helpful, but unobtrusive. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops in the vicinity. They will see me again!

We stayed at Lavender Garden Cottage in Port Elizabeth on the weekend of th 18th of August. I can really recommend the guest house to anyone looking for something with good value for money. I was blown away by how well furnished the place was. We had a very enjoyable visit and will definitely go again when we stay in the bay.
Had a great stay. Lots of little extras such as chocolate, fruit, heater (already switched on when we arrived, real down duvets. Parking is a bit small, difficult to move in and out, especially with a larger vehicle. Otherwise everything in order and lovely accommodation.
