We had a pleasant stay. We felt at home. Our host was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the treats in our bedroom, it was a lovely surprise. One literally only needs to take your own food, everything else is provided, even charcoal if you want to braai. There are books to read and games to play and enjoy. Absolutely fantastic!
I recommend you stay here. It's a lovely area and easy to find.
Lavender Lane is definitely recommended. Clean, tidy and everything you need is there. Quiet part of George. Will definitely stay there again.

Will go back again anytime. The owner is lovely and the welcome was warm. What I really liked about him was the fact that he stays in touch until we arrive. Very nice place and really value for your money. My friends and I are going again next month.
Lavender garden apartment at the owner's house in a quiet neighborhood, is very well equipped for self-catering: good, soft linen, enough blankets, enough heaters, a battery system for power outages, handy salt, pepper and olive oil in the cupboard - in addition the owner brought boiling water in a jar when Eskom started grinding again. There is also good wireless internet. Just around the corner is a lovely walking and cycling route which the friendly locals make good use of, so it's a safe place to walk. I can recommend this homely accommodation.
