Thank you very much for a great night's rest and a fantastic breakfast the next morning. We traveled back from Botswana/Kgalagadi, where we camped for 4 days, with a large trailer and Corrie went out of her way to help us with parking for the sleeper and also made us feel very welcome with something cold to drink. The Lodge is very neat and clean and the beds slept wonderfully. Thank you very much for your hospitality and all your help. Reasons that I will spend the night there again, not the excellent friendly hospitality and helpful service of the owners - tongue in cheek, but the breakfast. Will just drive through from Gauteng to Vryburg and spend the night for breakfast the next morning and then drive back. The lodge itself is in a very nice tree-rich environment with a lapa, pool bar and dining hall. The room is very neat, clean and very stylish. Also equipped with air conditioning, a large double shower and bath. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic and very good value for money. The lodge is equipped with an emergency power generator so we were not inconvenienced by "load shedding" at all. We would definitely recommend Lavender Lodge to anyone who appreciates class and style.

Our host and lady were very friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. If you let us know in advance that you want to have a barbecue that evening, the firewood, plates etc. put out and you can have fun under the lapa by the pool. Breakfast was also very nice!

We were three men on a motorcycle trip who stayed overnight at Lavender Lodge. Upon our arrival we were warmly welcomed and shown to our rooms. We had our own barbecue area for the evening (arranged in advance for barbecue suits and side dishes with the lodge) and the other facilities available to guests were pointed out to us. The lodge is particularly neat and the garden and lawns are very beautiful. We had a good time in the evening and enjoyed our barbecue. Everything needed for the braai was set out for us, wood, clean grates, bowls and eating utensils etc. Yes everything was fine for us. Our rooms were spotless and very comfortable and everything worked. Breakfast was very, very nice. The host went the extra mile for us by adding some of the leftover steak to the already large breakfast just as we requested. We had a great stay at Lavender Lodge and can highly recommend the place. Nice stay in clean and comfortable accommodation with great service and hospitality at a good price. Couldn't be better. I hope to visit again.

What a refreshing stay we had at Lavender Lodge. We stayed over for one night (both ways) on our way to and from Upington for a family wedding. The breakfast was superb (such good value for money), the bar a very welcome surprise, the pool sparkling and the braai area was clean and beautifully equipped. Highly recommended!
