Excellent stay, the guest house is so well located. The room was comfortable and the hostess made us feel very at home and relaxed. We also received a small treat which was a nice thought and she also suggested restaurant referrals which were successful. I hope to go there again soon.

Very pleasant as well as hosts. Location beautiful. Unfortunately not recommended for older people or people with disabilities due to steep climb to the house and stairs. Loading and unloading luggage is also a challenge due to the steepness. Parking is on the street, but there is a security guard who drives around regularly and the area is cordoned off. If there is more than one vehicle, this can be a challenge. The kitchen and living room are shared, but luckily we were a family of 4 and there were no other guests. This can be a problem if there are other guests. However, for overnight stays for business purposes this should not be a problem.

Friendly, approachable and generous, kindly 'instructing' us to take it easy and to stay until midday, and even offering to make us complementary breakfast at no extra cost. This is an absolutely gem. For the hostess, nothing is too much trouble, the location is fantastic with a beautiful view of Table Mountain, and within a few minutes walk you are on the beach. We had our dates wrong, but hostess Lorrein went out of her way to accommodate us. It eventually worked out well. The guest house is well located and the dining room/lounge has a beautiful view of the sea and Table Mountain. The kitchen and all the facilities are fully available to guests. The bedroom was clean and tidy, although somewhat small. We enjoyed our stay there and can highly recommend Lavender Laine.
