The internet was very slow and could improve. The shower is very dark and the curtain is not good. The load shedding lights are perfect.
Noise water is definitely worth the money. The house is neat, everything that is needed. Apart from the room being a bit musty around the bottom floor (maybe the owner can look into that), everything is excellent. Thank you very much. Thank you for the lights that are provided when Eskom strikes.
Cute place for families with small children, but we struggled a bit. The shower curtain was constantly blowing against a person and the geyser could not carry the load. The WiFi also worked very rarely. The owners are lovely people and helped very quickly if we had requests or queries.
We loved Lawaaiwater as a traditional-style cottage right on the beach! Casual yet packed with modern cons and wonderful outlooks! There was a braai, a heater and plenty of room upstairs with good bedding and a great bathroom! We loved it all!
It was very nice. Fireplace or indoor barbecue would be even better.
It was nice and practical. Just smaller than what I learned from photos. Larger braai areas would be nice for the number of guests.
Because of living with loadshedding I would highly recommend that a gas stove is installed. We did however appreciate that all the rooms had "magic lights" but a pity we could not even boil water for tea or coffee during loadshedding. Other than that everything else was just perfect.
Super clean, spacious, comfortable and safe. This home has everything you could possibly need and so much more. Washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer and a kitchen that comes with everything to cook and store food. Yup, this place even has tupperware. Highly recommend this home to anyone travelling to Witsand.

Best vacation our family has had in a long time. House is perfectly equipped for everything you could need. The house is close to everything and walking distance from everything. Very cute, you will definitely see us again!
Lawaaiwater was our Witsand accommodation for three days out of our eight day Cape Pilgrimage. Communication with the owner was first class, and the accommodations reflect the owner's interest in her guests.

I really enjoyed staying and sleeping in this house. There were trifles, e.g. the shower's outlet that didn't run out quickly, the towel rail that needed repairs and couldn't be used, and I wasn't informed that I had to provide my own garbage bag and toilet paper. The person who opened for me, Nadia, informed me that the previous tenants had only been out that morning and that the place had not yet been cleaned; the dishes had been washed and packed away and at first glance the place was clean enough. I urgently looked for a place and was very happy for a quiet and safe place where I could stay for 4 nights.
Pros: clean, great location, great for anglers looking for a base. Crockery, cutlery good quality. Cons: only one shower/ bathroom for 8 sleeper. Place is really old, downstairs room has damp smell and evidence of such on wall. The most concern I had was for the steps to the kitchen and the 18 steps to the upstairs bedrooms my wife and I are seniors, I slipped on my first attempt. The toilet in the upstairs bedroom smaller than those on airplanes. Conclusion: you get what you pay for, this place priced below the average for the area. DStv absolute minimum package and no Wi-Fi. Bunch of friends out for fishing adventures ideal. Would not recommend for seniors and children.
We went to Witsand to run the Vlakte marathon. The accommodation is ideal for the marathon, it is about 300 m from where the bus to the Marathon starts, picks you up and 450 m from the marathon end point, so you can walk. Accommodation is clean and tidy and walking distance from the nearest restaurant and shop. Master bedroom overlooks the sea, to reach the sea you just walk over the sand dunes. Nice, quiet place.
Good experience especially for smaller children who can enjoy the sand dunes. Walking distance from swimming pool and shop. Just make sure there are enough wine glasses for the thirsty men.
We rented the house a few years ago and it was nice to come back again. Clean and comfortable place to sleep and everything you need for a week's enjoyment. Older people who cannot brave the stairs to the upper 3 bedrooms can make themselves at home in the spacious ground floor bedroom. Value for money, for sure! See you again soon!
The price per night was very reasonable, but a few things bothered me. We had a misunderstanding about towels (no towels provided and I assumed they were provided because the ad used the words "fully equipped") and then had to buy locally. The fridge gave up on us, luckily we noticed it soon and there was also a chest freezer in the place, so the milk and meat could at least stay fresh.
It was a nice getaway with everything we needed. Nice and close to the beach and restaurant.

Nice view from the master bedroom and only a sand dune away from the beach. Simple holiday home with all the necessary facilities and enough space. Walking distance from the sea and river. Can rent kayaks and small boats to go up river. Would definitely want to spend a holiday here again.

The stay was great. The location is also nice and central and right by the beach for those nice early morning walks on the beach. It is safe, which was a big plus. The unit was incredibly large, with all the comforts of home. It was incredibly hot in the evenings so might just recommend they invest in a fan for each room. I will definitely be back with the whole family.
It is very neat and has more than what one needs and we were able to take our Yorkie with us. We enjoyed it very much.
We enjoyed it terribly. Everything convenient. However, we did not open the wooden door to the outside barbecue area. Didn't know it was accessible. But that was our fault. We will definitely come again.
