3 guests' feedbackWe had an incredibly nice time at the Lazy@Kruger. Reception and communication were excellent. Every day cleaning service was very good, and the ladies were always friendly and helpful. We were spoiled with incredible wildlife that came to our cottage every day. The stoep/deck area is special. Had very nice evenings around the fire and children made good use of the pool. The cottage is comfortable, clean and comfortable. The outdoor bathroom was my favorite. Really gives the "in-the-woods" feeling.
Our stay was perfect. It's a beautiful home where you can get in touch with nature. If you want a place away from the busy city and want peace of mind, this is the place for you. We went as four couples and we had a beautiful time. The space inside, specifically the sitting room, is a bit small to medium, but the outdoors makes up for it exceedingly. We loved the place. It's amazing. There are also animals that roam around and come by the house. The host was always there when we needed help, which was great. I would definitely come back here without hesitation.
There were no cleaning services over the weekend, I understood that help would come in but no one did, at almost R4k a night I expected there to be cleaning services. We had to pack the dishwasher and clean the kitchen ourselves - it's incredibly difficult when you have small children and you have to pack - you're also on holiday then you have to stress about cleaning the place. The rooms and house appeared larger in the photos and there is no room in the living room for 4 people to sit in front of the TV to watch rugby, we sat on the floor with the children. The house is nice and clean. The outdoor bathroom looks stunning, but it took us a few hours to get water hot, when I eventually got to shower I slipped out of the shower and fell on my head, I was really hurt. There are pictures everywhere, watch out for slipping, but that doesn't take away the danger. My father-in-law also slipped and fell outside. The wooden posts were painted either on the day or the day before and were still wet with tar, the deck was very dirty, children crawled black. I brought the fall to the owner's attention and she said they were going to plan the month.
