7 guests' feedbackThe garden is very overgrown, which made the cottage cold as it didn't get any sun. At the price we paid, I did expect more, like electric blankets on the beds, light switches rather than plug points for bedroom lighting and better quality towels. There was too much furniture in a small space it felt very crowded. And we felt rushed to leave on departure day, time for departure was 10 am but the cleaners were waiting to get in far earlier while we were still trying to eat breakfast we felt rushed.
Very well located. The peace and quiet was awesome. Only hear birds and the mountains are very beautiful. Will want to go back again.

L'Chaim cottage is a gem in the Bergview Estate (next to Drakensberg Sun). It's a well-equipped cottage where you can rest to your heart's content. Special little treats like knee blankets in front of the fireplace and a shelf full of great book titles whisk you away. As a family of 5 we appreciated every moment in this cottage. It's located in the heart of the Champagne Valley - very close to hiking trails, golf courses and shops. It was a blissful getaway in this lovely cottage.
What a wonderful stay we had. Hidden away in Champagne valley. Beautiful surrounding gardens. A little stream in our background. We felt welcome from the start.
