It was one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. Everything worked, it was tidy, the hostess was very helpful and friendly and it was very close to the Vaal river. The self-catering unit had all the cutlery you could think of, as well as enough parking! The file with all the information about the place also had a very detailed section about what you can do when and activities you can enjoy at different times of the day.

Beautiful apartment (unit 2), excellent accommodation with everything and more to make our visit very comfortable and peaceful. Everything was clean and tidy and the "outdoor kitchen with the built-in braai" made gatherings around the table so enjoyable. Beautiful clean bedding with the most comfortable beds. Secure parking and "all around very impressive". A big advantage was the running water that was available all the time. Connie, our hostess, met us at the unit upon arrival and showed us around and went out of her way for us throughout our stay. Thanks to the WiFi and the "smart TV" we could comfortably watch the World Cup final in the unit (and also celebrate when we won). We will definitely be back. It was a lovely weekend. Thank you so much Connie and hubby for everything. Hope to see you again soon.

Our family with teenagers stayed in the Black Stallion unit. The unit contains everything and more that is needed. Thank you Connie for the delicious biscuits, tea, coffee and chocolate. All that was lacking was air conditioning in the unit. Other than that it was excellent.
The units were excellent for our group of 7 which included small children and teenagers. The way in which some of the units can be combined to create a larger unit makes this a particularly adaptable option for larger families and families traveling together. The facilities are very good - everything one needs. The units are very stylish and painfully neat and clean. Security is very good. Communication was easy. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Just what you need for a weekend break.
Guesthouse is conveniently located. They went out of their way on our arrival by giving us an additional room. We planned for the kids to sleep on the pull out couch. They had an open room and so we all had comfortable beds. Rooms have everything you could need for self-catering.
Clean and neat. Unit 5 is good for a single person, but not a couple. Entering and exiting the premises with a big vehicle is a challenge.
The place was nice clean and fully equipped. We had a good barbecue and slept well.
For the price, the offer is value for money.

1. Manual operated gate makes one feel unsafe. 2. Narrow driveway for parking is quite a challenge. 3. No-one to welcome you. 4. Door lock loose makes it difficult to lock and unlock. 5. Leaking tap in bathroom caused water to flow all over the floor.
Rooms were not ready on time. No warm bedding for child, only 2 sheets and duvet without cover. Carpet in living area and bath mat were very dirty. Bed in back room creaks very badly. Coffee, tea and cremora containers still had previous guests' empty paper bags in them.

Really a lovely place to relax after a long flight. We all had a good sleep as it is so peaceful and waking up to the sound of the birds was great.
It was a lovely stay for our 4 friends. Value for money. We were given an extra room for free to use as there were no other people - that was a bonus! I would only suggest that a shower mat be put in room 3 as well. We enjoyed it very much!
