I just think the place needs to get burglar bars in front of the windows and doors.
Very clean and tidy. Very nice stay. Close to all the entertainment and shops and far enough from the noise and main road. In the evenings you listen to the lions around the campfire in the distance while the bucks graze around you. Would highly recommend Le Petite Maison.
Fantastic quiet chalet. Visiting animals every day, incl. Buck, Warthog, Hornbill, Mongoose and Giraffe. Marinda was fantastic and always available. The mattresses could do with replacing.
The accommodation appeared to be new and tidy. The feedback is therefore only tips that can make it better, and not complaints. We regularly use the website and the quality is compared to other accommodation options that we book on the same forum, and what it offers. Better quality mattresses would be welcome, and also the option to get a cleaner (or a cleaner included for the amount paid). An extra set of bed linen / towels for guests staying longer than 2 nights. The weather was terrible when we were there and the wind blew a lot, which made barbecuing in the boma dangerous with all the dry grass. A smaller braai that could be used on the stoep would help, but in good weather one would never use it.
The accommodation was neat and sufficient. The mattresses in the rooms were bad though.
Short alarm system, that's all.
Le Petite Maison was everything we needed to break away from the city and relax. The spacious unit has everything you need and is very neatly and cutely laid out. We especially enjoyed the layout where all the rooms have a sliding door that opens onto one long porch. The enormous porch provides shelter from the hot sun while you can enjoy the company of the forest and its inhabitants. It was a wonderful and comfortable place that I would recommend.
Very clean and neat. But it does need some decor, artwork or something similar.
Our family really enjoyed it. The place is really very nicely laid out. Everything is clean, tidy and you just feel like you're on holiday. Children really enjoyed the "farm splash pool" and every morning and late afternoon there were animals that came to drink water at the water bowl/hole that was built there for animals. We will definitely stay there again with our three children!
