Marleen was very friendly and immediately made us feel at home. The accommodation is as described. The bedroom is nice and bright and sunny. Thank you Marleen.
We only stayed one night but would have loved to have been in Stellenbosch longer than that. I would describe the cottage as cosy but not cramped. Loved the wooden floors. We had everything we needed there. Really appreciated the electric heated underblanket as it was a cold night and it took the chill off before going to sleep. The owners also accommodated a request which was probably inconvenient for them but they did it with grace. The downstairs part had a little kitchenette and they had even provided some rusks for the morning! There was a bed downstairs too (we didn't use that). The upstairs window had a lovely view. The neighbourhood was quiet and we had a good night's sleep.

We stayed here for medical and business reasons. So we were basically just looking for a place to stay. Leafy Lane is very centrally located and is within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The area in the neighborhood is a nice quiet and peaceful area. We used the accommodation mainly just for sleeping. But Stellenbosch has so much to offer that we definitely wanted to spend more time there. The reception at Leafy Lane was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had a great time staying there and will definitely use them again.

Marleen is very hospitable and the accommodation was clean and tidy. Nice warm blankets on the beds to keep us warm. Only problem, the one bed was on the ground, it was not a problem for the children, but for an older person it might have bothered.
Unfortunately just slept there during golf tournament. Was terribly cold and rained over 3 days. The warm sheets on all three beds were a lifesaver. Everything needed is there. Hostess very friendly and compassionate.

Hostess is really a star and makes you feel at home immediately. Check-in and check-out are really easy and definitely private. Location is close to everything needed in town. Marleen has a gem of a place. The ideal place to stay for business and social events in Stellenbosch. Very close to the town, but out of the mass traffic. Nice quiet and safe parking on site. Everything in the unit was fine and met all our needs. We would definitely stay there again and we really recommend it. Marleen is an extremely friendly and spontaneous hostess. Leafy Lane also gives the tourist easy access to all the surrounding wineries and attractions, simply because it is located just outside the town with easy access to all the main routes. The Cottage is close to a shopping center for groceries etc.

We attended a conference just outside Stellenbosch and chose Leafy Lane as accommodation. The accommodation was perfect for our purposes. With the two floors it was perfect for two colleagues, it gave us the opportunity to each have a bit of their own space without having to live separately. Definitely ideal. Marleen, the hostess, was very friendly and went out of her way to help and make recommendations, especially for places to eat.
The stay at Leafy Lane was very comfortable. Marleen is very hospitable, friendly and I can recommend her place to anyone. There are stairs to the bedroom upstairs. Lovely large windows with a view of the mountain. Shopping center is just around the corner with everything you need. Area is very quiet.

The arrival and welcome is exceptional and the view from the room is beautiful. The place is cozy and has everything you need. The bedroom is indeed on the second floor, so anyone who is not comfortable with stairs may not be able to appreciate the full enjoyment of the place.
LekkeSlaap as well as Leafy Lane were easy to book, communicate with, access and utilise. It was a good experience with a personal touch.

Marlene is a warm and caring hostess, without violating privacy. The guest house is very centrally located and safe. It is well equipped. Our two day stay during the Woordfees was very pleasant.

It is within walking distance from a shopping centre with a little restaurant. I wish we could have stayed a little longer! We will definitely be back!
