I would recommend Leeward Lodge to anyone interested. It is very close to the sea and for the price I expected much less. Very nice stay and was able to stay nice and quiet for the 4 days.

Was very nice. Everything was neat and perfect for our time there. Location is great for wine routes, to Cape Town and just nice close to Melkbos and Blouberg is 10 minutes away.

Upon our arrival we were kindly received. We immediately felt at home. It was very neat, spacious and safe. And close to many places one can visit.
We had a great time at Leeward Lodge. The units are spacious, especially for families or groups. Well located if you want to visit Melkbosstrand, Bloubergstrand, Cape Town and route to Hout Bay. The owner is very friendly and she received us very warmly. The washer and tumble dryer in the unit was a plus since we were touring for 19 days. We stayed in Leeward Lodge for a week and still couldn't do everything we had planned for Cape Town and the surrounding areas. I would definitely recommend Leeward Lodge to guests who crave cheap and affordable accommodation.
It was very nice. It just gets very cold in the evening. We had a great time in the peaceful area.
Wooden deck unsafe. Injured my leg when one of the boards broke under me on Saturday morning. Wooden staircase's rails are both loose and the third step from the top is also loose. The upper floor's floor is also not sturdy. House urgently needs work. Someone is going to get hurt badly there.
My family and I were pleasantly surprised. We had a great stay at Leeward Lodge. Mari treated us to a warm welcome and we chatted for days from the moment we arrived. We just felt so at home. The unit was spotless. They thought of everything. You just have to bring your shaving set and clothes, literally. The beds were so comfy and there are more than enough pillows and the kitchen has everything you need. Some of our relatives live nearby and we proudly invited them for coffee. I loved the peace and privacy. You can really switch off. The lodge has an ideal location. Was able to jog every day. Melkbos feels very safe and it is walking distance from the beach. Personally I recommend this, especially for a family. Thanks so much Leeward Lodge. You will definitely see us again.
We got married and were looking for accommodation for some of the guests for the weekend. There is DStv and even a iron board and iron. Everything that you need for a weekend. Very nice and close to the beach. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Our 4 family members had a lovely and safe stay at Leeward Lodge. Mari Lee the owner welcomed us and we felt at home in the house which is equipped with everything you need. There is no sea view, but is close to the R27 and several shopping centers and restaurants.
Leeward Lodge is a neat and comfortable place. I will definitely go back again.
