The place was the most beautiful for me. It was stylishly furnished, nice and spacious, massive bathroom, really everything we needed. Bettie was so friendly and really went out of her way to meet us. Feels like a boutique hotel room.
Bettie and Theuns received us kindly and made recommendations about good restaurants. Loadshedding is only a problem, but Theuns has a standby generator that kicks in if needed. There is nothing negative that can be said against Lekker Rus.

It is very safe and secure, very welcome by both the Pieters (Mr and Mrs), very helpful. The bed is warm and generally modern. We recommend Lekker Rus 100% to anyone who is looking for a very good guesthouse.
My daughter and I spent 4 nights at Lekker Rus during the U16 Squash IPT. As two females we were a bit nervous at first, but we found Lekker Rus to be a clean, safe self-catering home away from home. Our hostess Betty had the heater warming up our room for us by the time we booked in, and the lovely winter sheets provided us with a warm cozy bed at night. We hardly knew that our hosts were home, it was so quiet and it felt like we had our own little retreat. They provided us with clean towels, and we had everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment which was in good working order, and there was a little grocery shop just a block away to pick up some supplies. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much!

The facilities are very clean and neat with everything you need. The owner can maybe invest in an air con in the future, but on the cooler days the fan is sufficient. Otherwise everything was perfect.
