Jannie and Alta received us warmly and showed us how everything works. There are spoilers (everyone will just have to stay here to find out more!) that we really enjoyed. Little things like that are what set it apart from regular landlords and the real host and hostess. The guest album bears witness to people who came back several times for more visits.
It was truly blissful - peaceful and quiet - everything you need is available for self-catering. Fine finishing with a chocolate and biscuit. It was a proper pampering.
We had a great stay, Lekkerus is located close to the sea and very safe. The owners are very friendly, you really feel at home!

Cute little apartment. Aunt Alta was very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed it. Something to note - the bathroom is in the master bedroom and everyone has to walk across the room to use it.

We had a great time and the house is within walking distance of the coastal walks. The place is really nicely decorated and detail has been given to everything. Homemade rusks are definitely recommended. The bed was a bit hard and narrow, but that's personal preference. We will definitely visit Lekkerus again.

I took my 2 grandsons for 3 nights. We had a Royal time. Everything was perfect. Jannie and Alta are super cool hosts. DStv was a bonus to watch the Important rugby game against Wales. We enjoyed every minute. I can recommend Lekkerus, anytime.

The unit was neat, clean and the service unforgettably good. We were walking distance from the sea and nice walking trail along the coast. It is quite centrally located, in a quiet area and it truly feels like the soul can find rest here.

The walk along the coast which was less than 5 minutes from Lekkerus and had excellent views of the Overstrand coast. Walked to Sandown Blues for breakfast which Alta recommended.
The cottage far exceeded our expectations. It is very luxurious and comfortably furnished. The hostess (Alta) makes an extra effort with beautiful flowers, chocolates and home-baked biscuits. There is also coffee, tea and sugar and milk in the fridge. We had a wonderful stay and would very much like to stay longer. Thank you Alta and Jannie for your hospitality and kindness.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! From the friendly phone-call received from Alta a few days before, to her warm reception and always available attitude - we felt secure that we were staying somewhere with a caring owner. Beds are comfortable, kitchen has everything you need and there is secure parking. The height (flat is above owner's garage) also gives you the chance to hear the sea and take photos of a Full Moon rise.
We had a really nice stay and will go back again for a getaway next time. Was in Kleinmond for work and couldn't do all the nice things, accommodation was incredible and Alta looked after us so well. Cannot wait for next time.

Lekkerus is a beautiful apartment and is very well appointed. The kitchen has all of the required equipment for self catering and there are two lights that run on a separate electrical system, providing light during load-shedding. The apartment is beautifully decorated and is very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and very clean! Alta is an amazing host who is welcoming, very organised and always goes the extra mile. The coastal walkway is two blocks away, and the swimming beach, harbour and best shops and restaurants are easily accessible. We would love to visit again!

It was our first time to go home in Kleinmond. The place was spacious, very clean, and we felt right at home. Alta an Jan were very helpful, telling us about fantastic places to visit in the area. There's the walkway along the beach, South West biltong on the main street, penguins at Bettys Bay's side, as well as a collection of menus that Alta has collected, with amazing places to eat at. She also provides us with delicious, homemade biscuits. We definitely wouldn't mind staying here again.

Lekkerus is very close to the beach, and every day we went hiking between the fynbos and rocks along the ocean. Alta Hougaard was very friendly and informed us about all the possible restaurants , hiking trails and other attractions in the area. If we are in the Kleinmond area, I will definitely use Lekkerus again.

Jan and Alta went out of their way to arrange the weekend nicely for us. We are traveling with our 5 month old baby. They completely furnished a cot and also provided it with clean bedding. The apartment was painstakingly neat and beautifully laid out. I was able to pull my vehicle safely behind the gate. They take real pride in their property and this apartment offers excellent value for money. We will definitely visit there again.

Secure parking and help with luggage. A guided tour through the house informs the visitor of all the facilities such as the TV, living areas, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Braai facilities also available. Shops and restaurants walking distance. Also close to walking trail along the ocean. Good quality furniture. Good lighting in the evening makes it easy to move around and the steps are safe with railings. Reading material about the area and other topics available in coffee table book format.
