My stay was amazing even though it was a short stay.
We found when we arrived the one cottage room damp and my daughter's chest struggled. She was moved to an inside room immediately. And our room was fitted with a damp-proof machine. We appreciated the prompt response to our problem.
I might as well have gone home in France. The garden is beautiful. The rooms and own kitchen and dining room are stylish and it's just a pleasure to be there.
We were very impressed with our stay, nothing was too much trouble; we didn't book breakfast and on the morning of it changed our mind. It was no trouble and they helped us right away - even driving specially to buy croissants for us because it was on the menu. It felt very private, incredibly peaceful and the gardens are stunningly beautiful. The Kitchen Bar was something unique we encountered - a 24/7 accessible kitchen with enough dining space to cook yourself or store something in the larger fridge, with a lot of 'attention to detail' to make it convenient and enjoyable. Very child friendly and peaceful - we would love to go back.
Our stay was okay, the pool area was clean and other facilities. I recommend that the venue should have black bins so that tenants can be able to put in their litter and not just need to wait for the cleaning ladies in the morning while doing cleaning rounds. Think there should install working phones, so tenants can be able to contact staff and working remotes to be able to use the TV. In my room the light in the restroom was not working, so at night we used torch lights on our phones for light. Overall the venue is beautiful!
I would just like to suggest that it be made clear that breakfast is excluded from the daily fee and must be paid and booked additionally.

Friendly owner and staff. Beautiful and spacious rooms. Fabulously situated close to where we wanted to be. Excellent in every way.
What a nice place to stay, there is even a special surprise that you can buy.
