I fell in love with Lemon Tree Cottage the moment I walked in. Absolutely beautiful, comfortable, clean as a pin, with everything that is needed (and more) for an overnight stay. All the lovely extras, definitely one of my most pleasurable stays in Cape Town.

Excellent - the bed was superbly comfortable and the whole cottage was neat and very clean. Ideal location for what I wanted. I had full TV coverage of the rugby and other programmes at the push of a button! My hosts were very welcoming and explained all that I needed to know.

Super place for the long or short term. Quiet and peaceful. The hosts were always ready to help where they could & offering assistance. Most certainly recommend the Lemon Tree Cottage.
Nico and Denise pay attention to very small things, e.g. they have a plunger for filter coffee, gave us the weather forecast on the first day (although one would like to get it every day or the name of the App on which you can see it yourself daily). The WiFi works (even during load shedding), their bedside lights charge when the power is on, so you still have light during load shedding, etc. It would be nice if, in addition to bath towels and washcloths, they also had medium-sized bath towels to dry hands on and use for washing hair.
Although the unit is attached to the main house, the host and hostess were very considerate of respecting our privacy and keeping noise levels to a minimum. The unit is very tasteful and equipped with expensive and luxurious necessities, typically a coffee machine. There is also enough storage space for a longer visit. A lot of effort has been put into security in the unit, but the vehicles park outside on the yard which is not fenced. However, we did not feel unsafe in the area.
The Lemon Tree Cottage is comfortable, attractive and clean accommodation in a good neighbourhood. It is equipped to a high standard with bed linens, towels, soaps and kitchen appliances, cleaning materials and detergents. Great attention to detail, and generosity in the provision of unexpected thoughtful extras such as an umbrella and some useful condiments and superior tea and instant coffee brands. Would have preferred a more private experience as the flat is connected to the house.

The Cottage has everything you need and more. Nico and Denise are wonderful hosts and made us feel super welcome. The pool is a huge plus. We stayed for seven nights and will definitely make use of Lemon Tree Cottage again.

Good location. Close to malls, Makro and doctors surgery. The place is in a quite area. The cottage itself is lovely everything that a household needs. Everything basically you just need to take your clothes. The doors in the bedroom opens up to a nice swimming pool good for the summer, sunny days.
It was a pleasant surprise to arrive at such a neat and tidy, very well decorated, cosy little cottage. It is fully equipped with everything one needs for self-catering and brilliantly located near a local supermarket in a neighbourhood shopping centre, as well as a filling station. It is situated in a quiet street with a safe and homely feel, yet easily accessible from Bosmandam Road and the highway. Would recommend this for any business traveller, single vacationist or a couple who wants a quiet place to stay.

Even though we stayed only one night, it was enjoyable with all the comforts of home and central. The cottage is very cosy and clean/tidy/neat, with every essential item required. It is a safe and peaceful area, however, the owner should consider installing a fence with remote controlled gate to ensure secure parking and safe access to the premises when going out and arriving back late at night. We couldn't access wi-fi even though we received the password.
