"Fantastic!"

The accommodation was fantastic and just what we needed, a large group visit.

Leopards Haven is a beautiful place for a getaway for a large family or group of friends. We had a wonderful stay. Everything we needed was at our disposal. The caretaker and cleaner provided good service and helped us if we needed anything. Thank you very much for a beautiful, clean place. Can highly recommend this place.

"Plenty of sleeping space, but impractically laid out."

We had a great time and the staff are very friendly and helpful, but the houses' kitchens and showers are very impractical. There are quite a few things that you will have to take with you from home when we go again, e.g. dishcloths, dishcloths, vegetable board, salad bowl. While we were there, we simply also requested that some of the things that were not working or broken be fixed, which they did immediately. What is fantastic about the location is that it overlooks the area where the cheetahs, wild dogs and lions are. So we heard the lions roar every night!

"Absolutely lovely."

We were a group of 24 girls who went away for a weekend. The place exceeded all our expectations and we have already decided to return next year. It was like a mini resort all on its own. The two lodges are really pretty and the bar and boma are nice and close together. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously. The people who were at the boma and bar till late did not bother the people who wanted to go to sleep at all, because it is very sheltered. It is really worth the trouble and the facilities are amazing. Theresa and Troy, who live on the premises, were so helpful and helped offload our stuff and made sure everything was clean at all times. I will definitely recommend this to any big group who want to go for rest and some socialising.

"Enough space for a big group."

We were a family group of 14 people for a weekend getaway. The houses altogether had 8 double rooms as well as 2 loft rooms with 3 single beds each (nice for kids). The boma and dinner patio are very spacious and the bar is central. The place is neat and clean (even though there's some old finishes) and the housekeeper and caretaker are friendly and helpful and the dishes get done every day. Nice and private and far from the other houses.

"All were completely dissatisfied!"

When we arrived at 15:00 the previous visitors were still there so we could not get in. We had to sit and wait and therefore the place was not cleaned properly. In fact it was actually disgusting. I appreciate that this is nobody's fault as cleaning could not take place, but the units should not have been rented until the following day. It was really hot, ceiling fans were ineffective as they are too high on the roof, we had to go into town and buy our own fans.There were plenty of umbrella stands but no umbrellas around the pool (upon a request for the umbrellas we were told they were all broken), so no shade around the pool. Some of the tiles on the pool step and around the pool were broken, we had 2 injuries from this! The game vehicles that we hired were in real need of a service, only did one game drive as it was too dangerous to take kids on these vehicles. All in all, the houses are in need of a serious upgrade and modernization (a coat of Annie Sloan paint in the kitchen would do it) and the showers need a good overhaul. To top it off, there was a dispute, after all this, that there was a tin opener missing and our deposit took forever to be paid back. Having said all of this, the 2 staff members were amazing! Well done to them! Under difficult circumstances that are not their fault.

Everything was fine on arrival. Workers helpful and always available. Lodge in excellent condition. Foreigners couldn't get enough of the wonderful facilities. Thank you very much.

We enjoyed our stay at Leopards Haven. The owner should consider renovating their restroom (shower and bathroom) facilities and make the loft area more private.

The place has not been properly cleaned in a very long time.
