Had a great stay in a self-catering 1 bedroom chalet (originally booked a regular room, but they had a large church group, and then moved me at no additional cost). There were a few things that bothered me a bit: • TV didn't work. • No fridge in the chalet. • No shower, just a bath. • I had to call the manager to have security come and open the gate for me when I wanted to come in at 9.30pm after being out. But it was all just minor irritations, and not major problems. Overall I had a very nice stay.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, so we honestly thought that the accommodation would reflect the same quality. But we were wrong. We wanted to book the family chalet with 2 bedrooms for R1400 per night, but it was already booked and they asked whether they can turn the 1 bedroom chalet with a lounge into a 2 bedroom for R1200. A discount of just R200 didn't sit quite right with me for the difference in accommodation, but we were in a bit of a bind, so accepted. We were attending an event at a venue close to Leribisi, so we only realised the state of the accommodation later that night. The TV remote didn't work, and the furniture that was removed from the lounge to get the 2 single beds in was merely shoved into the kitchen, so we literally had to clamber over furniture to get a glass of water, there was no shower - only a bath with a shower hose. The shower hose didn't fit into the shower fittings on the wall and the pores were so clogged that the bathroom ended up getting more of a shower than you ever could, when we tried running a bath, what looked like slimy black chunks of mold came out. Definitely an experience that wasn't worth the money we paid for it.
Very friendly service upon our arrival. I have 2 teenagers and a baby, the place was nicely decorated, clean and tidy. The kitchen is very practically equipped and I could comfortably look after my baby's needs. The room is also spacious and we could comfortably set up a cot and still move around. The teenagers enjoyed it outside as it is a beautiful place. The site is neat. Thank you very much for a lovely sleepover, we will definitely come back every time.

They sent an email that they were going to "upgrade" us because there was a "double booking", when we got there they said no we are where we originally are. Upon arrival, we saw that we were in a square room with a sliding door and a bathroom that was separated by a sliding door. It was specified as a hotel room by them ( It doesn't compare to one at all, we would have been happier with self-catering if it had been conveyed that way. ). On the website the room shows a fridge - there wasn't one. It says WiFi - There is not (there is not even a signal). There is also no phone then to call the "room service" as advertised, can't call myself about collection. The towels provided were full of holes and yellow and dirty marks. The other guests (team building group) started singing / making noise from 6am. The coffee is not refilled, if this is not done then that fridge would be handy so that we could get our own milk etc.
We booked the Executive room and it was not worth the price at all. The aircon didn't work and the place had a funny smell. When we got there around 5 o'clock in the afternoon they didn't even have our reservation in their books. It was also said that the place is clean inside, but outside it is dirty.
