L'Ermitage Quagga Lodge consists of 5 modern chalets overlooking the river. Four of the chalets have two bedrooms, and one of the chalets has 1 bedroom. Each chalet has en-suite bathrooms, a spacious lounge and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen as well as inside and outside braai facilities. Other facilities include Wi-Fi, DStv satellite channels and ceiling fans.
L'Ermitage Quagga Lodge is the proud home of approximately 40 Quaggas, which has been rebred out of extinction. The lodge also has a couple of other rare species roaming its plains. These include the Blonde Wildebeest, Blonde Gemsbok (Oryx), Sable, Springbok and Buffalo. The Berg River estuary is also an important bird habitat, as it is home to around 30,000 birds. Daily Game Drives are available for our guests at an additional fee, offering a rare opportunity to see these beautiful animals in their natural habitat.

We will definitely go again - luxury accommodation with a stunning view, well appointed house which is good value for money. The indoor braai can serve as a fireplace in the winter.
We had a great time. It's the most beautiful stay. Lovely view of the marsh. The game drive was a highlight.

We can't wait to go back again, the beds are fantastic, view stunning, the hosts the best! Very very luxurious finishes and good value for money. The indoor braai can serve as a fireplace in the winter. We are already busy with our second holiday booking with the lovely place.
