Beautiful place that is truly a gem and a great breakaway. The location is about an hour’s drive from the fast-paced life and the house is nice and cozy. For the warm summer days, there is a beautiful splash pool, and the owner went out of her way to make the place look and feel like a 5-star place. There are also some great hiking trails in the mountains.
My lovely family had a super weekend. The environment was so excellent, and big up to Jessica's hospitality.
Lethula was wonderful! The accommodation looked just like the photos and the environment was so peaceful! Unfortunately, it was too cold to enjoy the pool, but overall a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it and would love to return!

Fantastic place, exceptional host, super comfortable, great facilities - bedrooms, living areas, pools, jungle gym for the kids and most importantly, the Braai Area and BOMA. We booked out both Lethula & Kwintaba as it was a family time out. This is a place to go to relax. You can walk around the property, chill at the dam, reconnect with family, friends and just get away for weekend downtime.

What a wow experience. Jessica is the perfect host and very friendly. She spent an hour with us at the pool just talking. The unit was very comfortable, clean and met all our expectations. We normally do not go to the same place again as we try different areas and places, but if we were to go to Dinokeng Game Park, I would book again with Jessica.
We will definitely go again, and it's so close to Johannesburg. We cooled off in the pool and recharged our batteries. Comfortable beds, everything was just right!

It was a lovely, relaxing weekend with family. What you see on the website is what you get. No mobile phone reception at the unit, but in certain places in the conservation area. The unit is very tastefully furnished and everything you need is there. It is safe and one can really just relax.
Everything you need was there. Unfortunately it rained and we couldn't use the pool. But went for walks and drove around and saw animals. Very nice place. Would recommend for a nice quiet getaway.

We booked in by Lethula (Kwintaba) on the 22nd of August till the 26th of August, and the one thing that I regret is that we did not book in for longer! This place is absolutely breathtaking. Our host, Jessica, was incredible. She checked in with us every day to ensure that we were enjoying our stay, and that we had all that we needed. Absolute 10 out of 10! I will highly recommend this place to anyone looking to escape the busy city life. Also, due to there being no cellphone signal, it made our stay even more memorable. Thank you, Jessica and Lethula for an amazing stay.
Our family went, and everyone had a great time. The children and even old people enjoyed it. The houses are neat and stylish and you feel right at home! The owner was always available and also very friendly. Definitely going back again.

We enjoyed our time at Lethula Lodge, it was great to wind down from busy Joburg. We saw some animals driving just outside the lodge and heard the lions in the background. I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem in Gauteng. It fulfilled all my needs. The lions roaring and the Hyenas laughing at night were so comforting. I had a family of 7 very inquisitive bush babies staying under my roof. Jessica was a very attentive and accommodating host from beginning to end and made sure that I knew the load-shedding schedules for the area as well as other bits and pieces of information. Thanks, Jessica, I could not ask for more and I will for sure be back.

Pool is securely fenced. Garden is beautiful with green grass and lots of shade trees. Climbing frames for children. There is small game on the ground and the roar of the lions at the Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary was a highlight. The hostess Jessica is friendly and happy to help. We had a wonderful stay in Lethula 1, with a beautiful house that has everything you could want. There is a family of squirrels that live in the master bedroom and keep you awake in the evenings doing their thing on the floor. We also tried to get hold of the lady on 2 occasions, but had a little trouble. We also requested an extra black bag as our trash bag was full, which then never reached us. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful holiday and will DEFINITELY see Lethula again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lethula 2, there is nothing that has not been thought of or missed. One of the best breaks we have had in a very long time and the private pool is a massive bonus. Lethula's cottages are really a home away from home, beautifully furnished with absolutely everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Linda was there to welcome us and give us information about the reserve including maps and advice on what to do in the area. This was a weekend break for myself and my son so it was great to feel so safe. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend and can't wait to return!

Lethula was a lovely getaway for our family with a toddler, close to Pretoria but far enough to feel the bushveld. Linda especially accommodated us by having a fence put up for the pool so we could stay carefree with our two year old. The unit is very nice and tidy and excellently equipped. Come listen. come be You don't even have to drive far, because it's just a stone's throw from the city. Beautiful surroundings. Good security. Tasteful accommodation. Within the conservation area we saw giraffes, zebras, impalas, blesbucks, springboks, impalas, nyalas, waterbucks and warthogs. We could also see the lions and cheetahs of the "sanctuary". We will visit again.

It was very nice, there should only be rules from other people staying in the resort that no music may be played. We had two days where people were making noise and the owner said it wasn't that bad, but honestly it was loud and couldn't enjoy the nature.

It was incredibly fun at Lethula! The house is clean, tidy and stylish, as well as decently furnished, with everything you need. It is dead quiet there, with only nature to admire. So many birds coming to say hello. We even saw an Osprey and heard the baby call! No cell phone signal - so you can switch off properly. You can go for a nice walk on the premises, or go for a drive around the Leeuwgedacth area. We will definitely visit Lethula again! Linda is a wonderful hostess, and we also met Uncle Lappies and I had a nice chat.
Beautiful, peaceful stay. Large home furnished with everything and more. Swimming pool and swings for the children and the pond nearby create a wonderful atmosphere. Delicious boma for hanging out around the fire as well as covered braai in case it rains. We really had a great time and enjoyed the variety of birds and even goats. The only thing that might bother you, especially with a longer visit, is that there is no mobile reception.

Exceeded our expectations. The owners really thought of everything when they planned Lethula. The best surprise was hearing the wild animals (Lions, Hyenas and Jackals) in the evening. The owners, Oom Lappies and Tannie Linda are two amazing people and don't mind going out of their way if necessary. We will definitely be back at Lethula again.
We had such a great stay at Lethula 2. The house is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed, we couldn't think of a single thing that the should have provided. Small details are thought of like a wonderfully fluffy blanket to cuddle up with and enough braai tools and plastic storage containers. The private pool was especially great in the time of covid and the kids even swam in winter! We enjoyed walks down to the dam and the kids rode their bikes along the dirt road. We did a few self-driven game drives and saw a lot of animals. We loved seeing the giraffe up close! We had issues with getting hold of the owners at the conservancy gate which resulted in a 1 hour wait. This was due to vodacom cable theft. I would recommend pre-organising setting a time to meet them otherwise you're stuck outside. We had a lovely relaxing time and would love to return one day.
The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. Beautiful view, lawn and a very nice hanging out area outside the house. Our children really enjoyed the garden and the swings. Everything inside the cottage was very luxurious and every detail was thought out to make our stay very enjoyable, thank you very much!

Having the house and pool to ourselves was the highlight.
The unit was incredibly well equipped, with everything you could think of. Three rooms, each with its own bathroom, neat and modern, for the price, is absolutely unheard of. The layout of the unit, the patio, covered braai area, boma and private pool and playground for the children make Lethula a winner. There is also an alarm that gives extra peace of mind. The fact that it is in a game reserve is a further bonus.

We had a great stay at Lethula with a baby and a 2 year old. There were even small chairs for the little ones! Everything is very nice and clean. The pool is nicely enclosed with a fence which was also important to us with our little ones. There was access to a pond, so still had to watch very carefully that she didn't wander off. It's a shame that Lethula is not within the Dinokeng Reserve.

We absolutely love the place, everything exceeded our expectations. Will definitely visit again. We enjoy the silence and seclusion of the place. All I can ask is that they please in the future inform the customers ahead of time that there is no mobile reception. As with the arrangements, you must notify the host/wife when you arrive at the gate, but as there is no reception, it is very difficult. What I suggest is that they maybe put a pin pad in front of the gates and send customers the pin code in advance that you can use on arrival. Furthermore, I can only say thank you again for the beautiful place.
