We stayed at Nyala Lodge for three nights. The lodge was very spacious, spotlessly clean with views over the bushveld and to the Crocodile River in the distance. The sunsets were spectacular. We hiked, did the 4x4 trail over the mountain and had a relaxing time in general, wanting for nothing. Most definitely one to revisit.
Amazing places to sit on the balcony and braai. Really great walks. The pretty view and sunset spot/rock are great. Really relaxing and so peaceful.
We as a family had the best time at Letlapa Pula Nyala Lodge. It was incredibly beautiful, very well furnished, Karel and his team were very helpful, friendly and punctual. We will definitely come back again! Most beautiful view too.
We spent 4 nights at Letlapa Pula Nyala Lodge and we had a lovely time. The fact that we could walk, hike or self-drive on the property was a highlight for us as we enjoy the outdoors. Also having the house serviced every morning was a real treat, the ladies who cleaned were friendly and unobtrusive. We loved being able to be on the verandah overlooking the bush and enjoy braais in the evenings. Our issue with a blocked drain was dealt with immediately. Superb response from the management team. Extra ice and wood (at a reasonable price) were available every morning, delivered by the cleaning team.
There is always a certain list that you want to 'tick' when you travel with your family, and Letlapa really ticked everything. Clean, tidy, fully equipped with everything one could possibly need, the service was fantastic and Carel and his team have a passion for what they do. There were plenty of animals, healthy animals, and a great variety too! What a beautiful place! We will definitely visit there again! Thank you again Carel for your hospitality, you are amazing!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Letlapa Pula Game Farm Nyala Lodge. The proximity to the different lodges gives each accommodation enough private space for guests to enjoy their stay without disturbing others. It really felt like we were the only guests that weekend. The daily cleaning services made our stay even more convenient. The outside lounge areas are stunning, and one can truly enjoy catching sunsets while braaiing or swimming. It's nice that it's less than 3 hours away from Johannesburg!
It is by far one of the nicest places with the most beautiful views, friendliest people and fantastic houses we have ever visited. Carel and his people take very good care of their guests and we will definitely come again, and recommend it!
The pool area was lovely. Crystal clear pool with deck and chairs and umbrellas ready. Carel, Clemance and all the staff we encountered were happy, friendly and informative.
It was great that the Wi-Fi worked everywhere in the lodge, no matter what room you stay in. The lodge was clean, with great views and an amazing landscape. A big plus was the fact that the lodge was serviced and cleaned every morning which meant we could just rest and not worry about any cleaning ourselves.
This is a beautiful place, so peaceful. We would love to go back again.

It had been fantastic. The place was neat and beautiful. We really just rested. It was quiet and all you could hear was nature. Exactly what we needed after a stressful 2020. I would definitely recommend the place. Carel and his staff were excellent, they made sure we had everything and that everything was OK. Thank you very much for your hospitality. You will definitely see us again.
Nyala Lodge is very well located, well equipped and ideal for a group of adults. The veranda and swimming pool offer a blissful lounging area, with a wonderful view. The farm itself is delightful, with challenging hiking trails and 'stunning sunsets'. Carel and his team go to great lengths to make it comfortable. Wood and ice are available for purchase right at the house, the ladies come to clean daily, and everything is set up and ready when you arrive.
Ideal for visiting (and also resting) with family and friends! The view from Nyala Lodge is fantastic, there is a lot of walking on the farm, we saw a lot of animals and could cool off in the swimming pool. The fire pit (fire pit) is great. Thank you!

Adri was an amazing, energetic and upbeat host who took good care of us. The lodge is amazing with beautiful views, and clean and scenery. All the amenities we needed where there. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be going back.
We were received by the staff with open arms. The lodge is beautiful and neat. The kitchen is fully equipped without any shortcomings. The view was fantastic and we could not ask for more with the sun setting behind the hill every night. It was a pleasant experience to see how the animals (klipspringers, bunnies, etc.) come to drink from the pool and other waterbowls. You cannot help but to relax! Thank you so much!

Guests are asked to pay the balance of the booking in the establishment's bank account at least 3 days before the check-in date. There are no card facilities on site and the keys won't be handed over without proof of payment of the balance.
