It was an incredible weekend and the place was fantastic! Everything was there and the views were stunning. Have the shutter sounds! We should have been there longer and Lizette was stunning! We would love to go back again!
The place is breathtakingly beautiful. The serenity and peace we experienced are amazing. We loved every second of our stay and will most definitely be going back.
Lizelle made us feel so welcome right from the start. The place is bliss in itself, private, no other houses nearby and very beautiful, we rested without the hustle and bustle of the city and with the animals and forest around us. Clement took us on a game drive and sundowner and his knowledge about nature and the farm was incredible. Even Mientjie, the cleaner, was very cute. We had a wonderful wedding anniversary. The only problem was that the weekend was so short.
It was the best getaway for me and my husband. Never had such a nice stay at a place. We will go back again for sure. The people are so friendly and service is top notch.

What an unforgettable stay! We will definitely be back. The house has absolutely everything you might need - and more. Pictures cannot do justice to the views - truly a unique experience to look at the bushveld and its inhabitants from such a height. The best host and really helped to make our stay as convenient as possible.
The service of the staff started even before we got there, with the owner constantly in communication about any special needs we might need up to and including our expected arrival time. The Stone House exceeded all our expectations in terms of location, cleanliness, friendliness and how well equipped it was. This is honestly the first time ever that I haven't needed to get out my grill or tongs. All basic necessities were there (kitchen, bathroom etc.), and the only items we could jokingly refer to were kitchen shears and a separate bottle opener. The uniqueness of the "hatch" windows and the focus that went into decor detail, frankly left us speechless. We were privileged to be the only guests on the farm, but with the clever placement of the other lodges on Letlapa Pula, it would not have made any difference with all the other lodges full of guests. Our game drives took longer than we expected each time, and we would encourage future guests to explore the ranch, something that is possible with most sedan cars. Because it is on these almost hidden paths where we saw the most wildlife.

Everyone was pleasant to talk with. Extremely fast and super responsive to any questions we had. The game drive was amazing, and the knowledge shared by Clemence was 5-star. Can't fault it in any way. Best vacation spot ever!

We really enjoyed our 3 nights in the beautiful and tidy stone house on the hill. It has a unique old world charm and the most beautiful dish washing view. Is ideal for a couple who just wants to be alone together and hang out in the kitchen or around the fire. Lots of trees around and lots of animals that come to visit. Lovely little game farm and it was fun to explore the roads every day. Will definitely visit the Stone House again. Thanks to Carel and his team who were always on hand and communication was great.

One feels so in touch with nature, from the scenery to the wildlife that roams the area. Couldn't have spent my partner's birthday in a more appropriate place more so being people who come from Johannesburg. The game drive was one of our highlights.
It's a lovely stay if you want to escape the busyness of life. Beautiful views, a beautiful and unique little place. We could unfortunately not use the pool during our hot weekend, because bees were everywhere, in and around the pool, almost making nests and my husband is allergic to bees. A bit of a letdown but at least we could use the outside shower.
The luxury of the quietness of the bush was revitalizing. Sunrises and sunsets were food for my spirit and soul. Highly recommended.

We were so enthused by the romantic, secluded and upmarket Stone House steeped in history at Letlapa Pula, we've already booked for next year. Adrie was a superbly professional hostess, handling our every need with aplomb and friendliness whilst ensuring complete privacy at all times. Moreover, panoramic views, abundant game, phenomenal bird-life and exclusive luxury make this a very special place indeed. With various viewing decks and dining areas, an exquisite splash pool and beautiful boma-style braai facilities, the outdoor area provide ample space to "breathe" and just "be" - the epitome of relaxation in a breath-taking space. The extremely comfortable and well-equipped cottage is immaculate and tastefully decorated, exuding a special ambiance that feels like home, only better. The outdoor shower is simply wonderful while the kitchen is superbly designed and excellently equipped. Definitely one of the most romantic and luxurious self-catering travel destinations, in close proximity to Johannesburg, that we have had the pleasure of visiting. Looking forward to our next visit indeed!

Quiet place with everything you need for 2 or 3 nights stay. There are generators for when the power goes off, and the place is cleaned every day. Very good customer service. WiFi available.

It was our second visit to the Stone Haus and again we spent wonderful days in the comfortable former watch house standing on a hill. The Aussicht is grandiose. Es hat verschiedene Antilopen, Giraffe und Zebra die man beobachten kann. Je nach Tageszeit one always finds a shady place on the big wooden deck. On hot days, the small pool offers welcome cooling. Es gibt viele Wege die sich zum wandern ownen. Carel und sein Team hiessen uns herzlich willkommen - gerne kommen wir wieder.

The Stone House in Letlapa Pula is perfect for a romantic getaway. The house is tucked away on a hill in the reserve and offers a lot of privacy. If you are tired and looking at the breathtaking view, you can laze around in the swimming pool. In the late afternoon and early morning the wildlife is abundant around the cottage and makes for a perfect opportunity to go for a walk. With excellent woodland wood (purchased from Letlapa Pula) you can have a good barbecue and sit outside until late listening to the night sounds.
It had been the most wonderful weekend, surrounded by silence and nature, received much more than we thought to get. Staff very helpful and friendly. Will definitely go again.

What an incredible place. We felt like the only people there. Not close to the other houses at all. So much privacy and there is everything one needs. The own private pool was the best after a morning or late afternoon walk, where we saw so much wildlife. The staff is friendly and the place is very neat and clean. We have already booked a place again for November! I recommend it for sure!

Letlapa Stone House is a lifelike house with good facilities for two people, hidden in the forest. Silence and tranquility are the watchwords here. Carel and staff immediately made us feel at home with good service. Beautiful piece of land with abundant wildlife. Will go back there again.

Breathtaking scenery. Carel, the manager, was very friendly and did a good job of showing us everything around the lodge. Two days just far too little to enjoy the wonderful nature around you. The Stone House is very nicely situated on a hill and meets all the requirements for a nice break, will definitely book for a longer period in the future.
The manager, Carel, was very helpful. On arrival we were accompanied directly to accommodation, no paperwork and card machine available when payment was made for game drive. Offered help to carry baggage after stay. Clemens, the guide, was very friendly and his knowledge of nature, animals and the environment was really good.

Stone Lodge offers absolute indulgence for your soul. The views are beautiful and we saw animals every day from the deck. The sounds of the forest allow one to enjoy and experience nature up close. The team at Stone House work well together and make sure you are comfortable at all times. From the booking, arrival, throughout and follow-up service we were just flabbergasted. Nothing is too much for them and they think of the tiniest detail with everything. The price makes it very affordable for a weekend in the bush in 5-star accommodation, there are other lodges that are more expensive (with everything included and not self-catering), which makes Letlapa Pula really a place for everyone! The people are beyond friendly and Chris, Carel and Marelize, we can not thank you enough. We will visit you at least once a year!

I was somewhat hesitant about the incredibly beautiful photos of Stone House compared to the reasonable nightly rate that is being asked for it. Great was my surprise when Stone House was exactly as beautiful as in the photos. The view from the wooden deck was breathtaking and we watched several animals from there as they moved past. The unit is particularly well equipped and the cooling swimming pool was very welcome upon our arrival. The boma area is also cleverly planned to offer a fantastic view of the area around StoneHouse. All the staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional. Marelize and her team are excellent and treated me specially on my birthday and even stepped in to help when a nail had to change a tire. The wifi in the unit was a big plus. We experienced a morning game drive and can recommend it. I wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely go back for a longer visit!
My wife and I enjoyed ourselves tremendously. We were grateful for the pool. A little small, but we were able to cool off. The fire pit and all the wood they provide made my night. I can make fire. I didn't even need to burn my own wood. My wife also really enjoyed the place and she took an awful lot of pictures. I just want to suggest that they somehow do something about the light that shines in the room from the bathroom in the evening because it is disturbing when we are sleeping.
If you are looking for quiet and a scenery with 360 degree views, this is just the place for you. Hospitality and service were excellent.
The stay was great. We would have just appreciated a supply of tea and coffee and sugar and milk for the duration of our stay. Otherwise it was really fantastic, really restfull.
Very nice place, still place for improvement (carport) security at the lodge - beams maybe. Other than that, it was a memorable stay and we did achieve what we went for and that was rest. One more thing on continues improvement is, if the same rate per person applies in all the lodges except the main lodge, then you should consider entertainment (TV).
It was one of the most unbelievable three-day holidays we've had, we will definitely visit Stone House and recommend it to our loved ones and friends. Thanks, it was so special.

- Letlapa Pula Game Farm Stone House is not equipped with a TV.- Regrettably, no children under the age of 12 are allowed.
- Children aged between 12 and 18 pay 100% of the sharing rate.
- The lodge offers game drives and guided walks with an experienced guide at an additional cost.
- Guests are asked to pay the balance of the booking in the establishment's bank account at least 3 days before the check-in date. There are no card facilities on site and the keys won't be handed over without proof of payment of the balance.
- Please note that there is a gravel road leading to the establishment. Guests are required to enquire about the condition of the road, before arrival, as it could be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
