Ria and Anita feel like family. We cried our eyes out when we had to drive. Be warned, once you're there you won't want to leave. It was the best vacation ever. We already miss Yzerfontein and Ria and Anita very much. Their hospitality and care made our holiday one we will not easily forget. We will definitely visit again. From the time I arrived until I left was great! The facilities are of excellent quality and extremely tidy. The bed sleeps like a dream and the balcony is lovely to admire the sea and beauty of Yzerfontein. The breakfast was also delicious. Breakfast was included in the price. Although breakfast usually also includes bacon and eggs, the breakfast was fresh fruit, yogurt with breakfast cereal and 2 slices of bread each (with butter and jam). My fellow travelers is a strong man over 6 feet tall and the breakfast was insufficient for him. He only mentioned it afterwards, so I could not bring it to the attention of the hostess. I will definitely use this guest house again.

The fact that there wasn't a kitchen sink made you feel like you didn't want to use the kitchen facility that existed because you couldn't wash dishes. Other than that, everything was perfect.
The room is very spacious with all the basic necessities - even butter, milk and yogurt in the fridge. The veranda has an incredible view of the sea and the roar of the waves against the rocks is almost deafening. There is a dining table and couch in the room. Highly recommended for a couple looking to get away. We didn't even want to go out - you can stay in the room all day and stare out at the sea.
Our stay was a wonderful experience: From the warm welcome, friendly service, beautiful room with a breathtaking view of the waves to doer at Table Mountain to information about restaurants and routes to attractions. The care of Ria and Nita exceeds all expectations - breakfast in the room, nice warm bags in the bed, a heated room if you come in late at night, and kindness and hospitality that never stops! This is a place to stay that will be our number one B&B in the future - a home away from home!

Was warmly received by Ria and Anita. The master bedroom we stayed in was enormous and I felt like I was at home in my own home. I only regret the lack of water ─ I really wanted to relax in that delicious bubble bath with a glass of sherry! The breakfast was delicious and the view of the sea is breathtaking. I will definitely stay there again.
What a pleasant stay. The two ladies who own the place are very pleasant and friendly. Room was beautiful and the bathroom beautiful. We were spoiled with delicious breakfast every morning and the visit with a little wine in hand was very social. Highly recommend Lewens Essens. Absolute value for money.
