Lewensdroom Game Farm and Lodge is situated on a working farm in a very private, quiet and safe area at the foot of the Waterberg, 28 km outside of Bela-Bela. It is ideally suited to nature lovers, with the sounds of jackals crying in the evenings and waking to the lion's roar.
The Lodge comprises a large, communal, open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge with a TV with DStv, a dining room, pool table and a large bar area. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and electrical oven, large steel gas plate, ideal for breakfast, a fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee- and tea-making station, crockery and cutlery. It also has a built-in braai with braai grids and large black pots where guests can enjoy preparing a meal together.
Just outside of the Lodge, there are 9 en-suite bedrooms. There are 3 large family rooms, each with a queen-size bed and 4 three-quarter beds where 6 guests can sleep in each room. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin. There are also 6 en-suite bedrooms with Queen beds only. The lodge provides each guest with a bath towel. There is a conference room with a TV and boardroom seating facilities used for meetings. There is a kids' playroom equipped with table tennis and arcade games. The lodge is suitable for 30 guests but can provide accommodation for 40 guests on request with tents and stretchers that can be set up. There are also matrasses for children. There is a big boma area where guests can relax in the evenings, as well as a big swimming pool and a trampoline and a jungle gym for children.
Guests can freely explore the farm using the hiking and cycling trails. There is a jumping castle and slip and slide for children that can be booked as well. The farm offers an abundance of game and birdlife which includes golden wildebeest and impala. Angling enthusiasts can enjoy free catch-and-release fishing at the private farm dam which is home to carp, bass, various species of tilapia, and catfish species. The dam area also boasts its own lapa and braai facilities for a beautiful and private picnic! Guests are welcome to explore the dam and row on any of our paddle or rowing boats provided. We also provide lifejackets.
Ice and extra firewood can be purchased on the farm.

Thank you for your hospitality, Frans. Every time we needed something, you were ready to help. The fire that was already burning when we arrived in the evening was a great cremation. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, with more than enough fridges as well as crockery. The ladies who came to clean in the mornings were a big plus! We look forward to the next one.

Lovely lodge, with all the facilities you need to cater for a big group. Lodge is beautiful designed. Boma, swimming pool. Juke box and pool table a win. Also really enjoyed the dam with canoeing.
The atmosphere is peaceful, everything is at your disposal. You can rest, braai and relax. Even in bad weather the lapa is so cozy and there is something for everyone to do and enjoy with plenty of space. Thanks, it was a big treat. Will definitely try to come again. It's a pity they are not closer to us.
Peace of mind stay we have at this place, we found a whole fully furnished lodge with everything (even more) we hoped for. We had the whole lodge for ourselves from Friday - Sunday, we have entertainment for all days. We had assistance in less than 10 mins, we went for sightseeing and all. Excellent place to be, great hospitality. I forgot my purse in a room and I was notified the same day before I even noticed. The owner Mr Pieter is accommodative and his assistants (Mr Mike) are always available. The refund process also went smooth in less than a week. Thank you once again. 100% efficiency.
The owner was very hospitable and contacted us often to find out if everything was okay. The lodge is very well equipped for a nice visit and offers a very nice view of the wildlife that comes to graze right in front of the lodge. Will definitely visit here again.
