Located on the second floor and accessed by an elevator, the air-conditioned apartment has a partial sea view, and comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining area, and a lounge.
The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, and a toilet. The other 2 bedrooms, each contains 2 single beds, and share the use of a bathroom with a shower, a bath, and a toilet. For convenience, linen and bath towels are provided, and guests please need to bring their own swimming towels.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, cutlery and crockery, pots and pans, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table.
Guests can relax in the lounge which is equipped with a TV with selected DStv channels, and opens onto the patio.
The complex offers direct access to the beach, and guests have access to the communal swimming pool, braai area, and laundry facilities. Secure parking is provided, and a security guard keeps a watchful eye. The apartment is cleaned daily, except on Sundays and public holidays. Note that dishes are not washed. Pets are not welcome.
Umhlanga offers beautiful beaches for shell searching, surfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, paddle-boarding, view the annual Sardine Run between May and July, as well as various golf courses and hiking trails. Guests can visit attractions such as the Umhlanga Lagoon Nature Reserve, the indigenous woodland of Hawaan Forest, the Beachwood Mangrove Nature Reserve, the Gateway Theatre of Shopping, the Umhlanga lighthouse, the Sibaya Casino & Entertainment Kingdom, and the various restaurants, pubs and shopping centres.

Great stay on value, you can improve on the fridge door that cannot close, bathroom slider that has broken handles, you can also get better mattresses for your beds and better support for your couches.

The beach and gardens are very well maintained, very very nice place.
It was great, the only thing that would have been really nice was to have a few coffee and tea sachets available on check in to avoid immediate shopping.
The facility is well maintained, close to a lot of places i.e. gateway, airport, a variety of places of worship too. We went to Rivers Durban North and it was just too nice. Braai facility and swimming pool are well taken care of. Nice parking for our car too. Thanks for everything. We will surely come back.

Morning walk at beach was nice.
On arrival I was placed in No 32, problem with TV was in No 20. Master bedroom curtains had been shocking - ripped and wouldn't close. The sliding door was broken - could not slide. Problems were reported and immediately corrected by institution.
Will use it again as my accommodation if I go to Natal again.
Spacious apartment but the kitchen is equipped with the minimum crockery.
I paid two days. Then I had to stay one more day and pay at the office. But in a criminal way they then ask me more. I object, but nothing helps. I just had to pay. They never see me again.
I would like to stay again. The staff was so friendly. I've never been in place like that before.
Beautiful place, clean and tidy with a sea view, and right by the beach. Cute amenities.
Only suggestion I have is to have WiFi in the apartment. Reception with mobile phones was very bad. Other than that the stay was nice. Though the apartment does need upgrades or to be modernised.
