56 guests' feedbackThank you very much for a wonderful stay. We enjoyed it terribly. The animals pass by right through the day. It was definitely one of the best places we have stayed in Marloth Park.
We had a great time.
We had a very nice stay. The lodge has everything you need. Would stay there again anytime.
Shower floor particularly smooth, lacks a rubber mat. Need a shovel, mop and broom.
We are regular visitors to Marloth and this was one of our most enjoyable visits. We were kindly met at the house by Trish who explained to us how als works. The location is great with only a few meters walk from the river where there was always something to see. Would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy the tranquility of the park.
Yes, we had a nice stay. Upper bedroom bedding needs attention. A shovel will be quite handy for pouring hot coals into the braai area. Luckily I took my own shovel with me. The children really enjoyed feeding the animals, and it is very safe with the fence that keeps the animals outside.
Outside hanging out areas were good. Unfortunately inside the house needs a decent cleaning and some tlc.

Everything you need! Thank you very much for the wonderful visit! We enjoyed every moment of it! We were very grateful for the air conditioning and the lovely "splash pool". You can simply cool off in the water while the goats and warthogs eat from the feeding bowls here.
Will definitely book again.
We had such a good time. This is a family friendly home for sure. Three balconies for viewing and visiting, a comfortable and safe boma area and especially the swimming pool was a hit. We have wonderful photos and memories of the children's close-up experience with kudus, wildebeest, warthogs, ibex and even giraffes. Early in the morning we walked the approximately 50 meters to the border at the Crocodile River with deckchairs and coffee to enjoy the free nature.
It was one of the best visits I have ever had in Maloth Park. The house was clean and tidy and ready for us and we had wonderful family time with our adult children. There was everything we needed and we really enjoyed the visits together with many different species of wildlife and would love to visit Lidvubu Lodge again. Many thanks to the owners who made this nice and safe place available to us. Marloth is my heart's place and your little house was a piece of paradise for us.
The owner must be informed that the baboons are busy picking out the stoep's thatched roof. The taps in the kitchen also need to be replaced or repaired. The house is close to the river for nice walks but not so close that the traffic bothers you.
Lidvubu Lodge is perfectly located near the river and so we could often walk along the river. It was wonderful for our small children to experience the wildlife and feed it by hand at home. However, the accommodation was disappointing. The air conditioning that served the upper two rooms had no gas and as a result it was unbearable to sleep there with the heat. I struggled for three days to get hold of the owner as she was in India. They only came to put in gas on the penultimate day. Meanwhile, my daughter and grandchildren had to sleep on the couches in the living room. Furthermore, the emergency lamps did not work, luckily we took two of our own. The braai grids were very dirty and one rusted. The pool's Creepy was also not working properly and as a result he was very dirty by Wednesday. To top it all off, the gas from the hot water heater also ran out on Friday. For the price we paid, it didn't live up to the requirements. However, it is a shame that the experience was not very positive as the place has a lot of potential.
Very relaxing, nice splash pool and a lot of game passing by. Bush babies is a bonus.
We enjoyed our stay so much. It was so nice when the animals visited us in the evening and then the night monkeys that stay there. We enjoyed them so much.
Kitchen and freezer/fridge very small, so make sure you braai!
Nice stay. Good location.
Very neat and comfortable. Place still needs some TLC. The Creepy's pipes are broken and sucking air, one of the drawers in the kitchen's handle is loose. We have to search for a while to locate the keys for all the decks.
The interview on Lidvubu needs attention. Both light bulbs in bathroom not working. Had to use one bulb in bedroom for bathroom. The faucet at the sink in the bathroom gives very poor water flow - there is a blockage somewhere. The folding camp chairs - two chairs are not usable at all - broken apart. The doublets and thorns of trees everywhere on the yard must also be cleared.
Lekker place to visit.
Perfectly located, everything you will need and more. Wonderful and cool with air conditioning! Grilling tools after a man's heart. Number of animals from far and near ─ incredible! Thanks for a great forest experience. Don't forget about the spash pool! Lafenis in the tremendous heat. Thank you thank you
Would love a flat tree or tripod pot. Bread knife was broken. Wonderful shower. Grill has seen better days.
We had a great time at the house and by chance there was also a leopard right opposite the house at the weekend and made sure of the weekend's entertainment too! Furthermore, we were able to relax on the large stoep and braai area!
Die ligging, netheid van die houthuis, die splashpool, alles was heerlik. Kon die diere sien en hulle was nie eers bang nie. Waarde vir geld. Baie dankie, sal definitief aanbeveel.

Nicely located. Bed in lower room should be replaced. Flushing out of order. Kitchen equipment can get more attention. In summary: Had a nice stay and was value for money. Reception by Trish was good and very helpful.
The place is all you need to relax. The pool was very nice to cool down in and we had a regular galago which greeted us. We will definitely come here again!
We had a great time. House is conveniently close to the river and saw elephants and hippos every day. Even had a visit from the kudu on our doorstep! House had everything we would need. Clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend it.
Good for a couple or small family but really not sound proof at all. Very close to the river and a perfect bench to watch the animals go by on the river walk. Pool is good and animals come by regularly. The towels and bedding were a little musty - only comment for improvement.
We would definitely recommend the place. It is very well located and enjoyed the nights very much.
Nice stay. Everything is there that is needed, enjoy splash pool, especially in the heat. Nagapies and Kudus came to visit and our child enjoyed it immensely. For visitors in the future, just make sure that all food is left in bowls/bags because there are a lot of ants, we just accept it as part of the bushveld.
Our first visit to Marloth Park. Very peaceful with lots of animals roaming between the houses. Lovely weather in the winter time.
Was a great break for all of us, we really enjoyed it so between the animals and nature will definitely visit Lidvubu Lodge again in the future.
We had a lovely stay in a tranquil environment. The house is well-equipped. Even though you can't see the river from the house, it is nearby and you can sit on the benches and watch the game.
For the teenagers, the cracking of the wooden deck (outside and inside) was terribly funny. The small pool was a treat and the fact that it is on the deck makes it so much more convenient. The air cooling was also a bonus and was well engineered. The ants were a big problem, but we understand it will get attention. The stove is a challenge because some of the knobs are gone and all the knobs don't indicate well when the gas is on or off. But it's quickly mastered.
Stove has problems. Yard needs to be cleaned. Sugar ants pest. Also very nice. Enjoyed it.
Nothing compares to staying at Lidvubu. You are right next to the Crocodile River and there is nothing better than the tranquility of it.
Lidvubu Lodge met all our expectations and we will definitely visit there again.
We had a lovely stay. The place is neat and clean and is ideal for people wanting to visit the Kruger but who don't want to stay in the busy, full camps. The swimming pool and braai area were the highlights of the accommodation. The bush babies and kudu that came to visit each evening also ensured a lot of pleasure.
I do not have words - it exceeded my expectations. A creaking wooden house may not be everyone's cup of tea, but we enjoyed ourselves.
We really enjoyed staying at Lidvubu. One needs nothing more to be in the forest. Especially enjoyed the pool because it's so hot there.
When we got there and took out the game sticks, a herd of kudus visited us, then redbucks, warthogs and gray grebes. Had a great time. Calm and nice rain too. The nights were again the highlight for us. I haven't even unpacked yet, then their lunch boxes are filled.
See the stars.
Watching forest TV every night was very nice. The house inside needs new bar stools and camp chairs. Will definitely go again. Saw a lot of animals.
I will recommend it if they give the place a good, good clean. If the place was given a excellent clean it would be fantastic. We showered outside luckily it was hot the gas might have been finished and the shower was too dirty to use. I would go there again if I knew that the place had been cleaned properly.
Enjoyed it so much.
We especially enjoyed the boma and location, but the air cons helped a lot in the heat.
Huisje was gezellig ingericht en mooi van hout. Service van sleuteldienst was erg prettig.
We had a very calm stay. We saw and fed a lot of animals. We will definitely stay here again!
Everything we needed, nice clean and tidy. Especially the swimming pool and braai place and bath got a big discount. Will definitely stay there again and recommend it to other people as well.
We had a very nice time there and will definitely visit Lidvubu Lodge again.
The chalet was lovely but there is no storage for food, tins etc. in the kitchen except for two fridges.
Very nice, quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed it to feed the wildlife and to get a close-up of the bushbabies. We recommend adding a broom to the kitchen itinerary.
Although it was very hot (above 38°) it was pleasant in the lodge because the air conditioning worked well. Marloth has a water problem and we had to buy water, but it was a new challenge to manage with the minimum. Marloth is a good alternative to the wildlife park.
