Beautiful place, walking distance from the sea with everything you could need for a wonderful visit in Stillbaai. Extra points for the solar and gas geyser. It makes one's stay that much more comfortable. WiFi was excellent and I was able to work comfortably during my stay. I will definitely visit again soon.

The first night there was no hot water. The neighbor had to come and check and the gas bottle of the water heater was empty. He first had to change the gas bottle before the heater could start.

We have been visiting Stilbaai for the past 10 years and Lielappie stands head and shoulders above the rest. Pumpkin was spotless. We had everything imaginable at our disposal. Everything in the house is well rounded. From the linen to the electrical appliances are of excellent quality. We decided on our last day that we would like to stay another day and Tercia accommodated us immediately. We can't wait to visit again!

Close enough to the beach and far enough from the crowds, a destination with the right mood.
Lieflappi is a neat place with the most beautiful lawn and garden. Tercia and Wessel are really very hospitable and went out of their way to accommodate us. Tercia sent us things to do in town and also followed up later to see if we were home safely. It was very special. We stayed in Bloublasie and the weekend when we were there we got very cold. I don't think the unit gets much sun. Luckily there is a fireplace and we just bought a lot of wood to keep us warm. The main bedroom has an electric blanket which helped a lot. I also think the unit's kitchen is small and rather inconvenient. But overall we had a great time.

The apartment was neat and we had everything we needed! We even had marshmallows for our coffee on the first night! Bedding was neat and the kitchen well-equipped with a dishwasher. Lovely garden for the little ones to run around on!
My husband and I visited Stilbaai for the first time and were surprised by the beautiful place. We had a wonderful stay at Lieflappie with its view onto the bay and sea from the balcony. Our hosts were very warm and friendly, and everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Far from having just enough cutlery and crockery for the amount of people in the apartment, there was an ample supply and a dishwasher to boot. There are lovely walks around and some good eating places. I would highly recommend Lieflappie to anyone wanting a safe, peaceful and beautiful place to visit.
We were already at our destination much earlier than 2 hours and Tercia had no problem with that and made us feel right at home. The units are very neat and clean and a short walk from the beach. Each unit has its own private braai area. It is very peaceful and safe in contrast to what we are used to in Gauteng. Tercia provided us with the necessary information regarding the environment. What we also really appreciate is the respect for your privacy.

Lieflappie was spotlessly clean, the garden and environment around the house was like a manicured display garden. The hosts, Wessel and Tersia, were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel welcome and at home. They even came to our aid during load shedding. The flat we were accommodated in had plenty of everything we needed in terms of dishes, cutlery, bedding, etc. and has a beautiful view to boot.
Apartment is comfortable and modern with everything you might need. Very close to the sea. Very hospitable, we really enjoyed our stay.

A lovely quiet getaway in a clean, safe nature conservation environment. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The flat was clean and had all one needed for a comfortable stay. We did have a view of the sea from the balcony but it is a stretch of the imagination when advertised as being 400 m from the sea! I loved the attention to detail in the decor. Felt spoiled with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, chocolate, cappuccino and sherry!

The unit in which we stayed was separated by a dry wall and door of the one next to it. The wall is not soundy and the door to the other unit does not seal properly. The guests next door start cooking bacon and eggs at 5:00 am, barely 2 meters from your bed, and arguing too much (2 meters from your pillow) about the extent to which the eggs are soft or hard. Lieflappie also has a very nice lawn, but you have to park on the neighbors' pavement. There are also no facilities to enjoy the beautiful lawn. A fan in the room might help.

From the very first moment, I was impressed with Tersia's friendliness and professional service. All of my questions were answered quickly and professionally. Everything is exquisitely decorated and looked after, and attention is given to detail. From chocolates in front of the bed, to hand soap next to the basin, en there there were bookshelves full of books if you finished your own book earlier than anticipated. The most beautiful lawn and garden is an indication that the owners value what is important. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I recommend Bloublasie and Pampoentjie without reservation.

We really enjoyed our time at Lielappie and would recommend it anytime. It is crisp and clean. Tercia, the owner, has a fine touch for detail and the bedding and furniture are of very good quality. A bonus is the dishwasher and lovely balcony for early morning visits with coffee and the view and to drink in the sound of the sea. We also had a great barbecue on the balcony. I can imagine that it could be lovely in the winter with a glass of red wine and a fire in the fireplace in the living area. What is nice is that the rooms and bathroom are downstairs. Upstairs is the rest and also a toilet. It is wonderfully quiet and blissful for your soul. We will go again. The price is the best we have ever found for the quality accommodation. Some 4 star accommodation where we have stayed, internationally as well, does not add up! I recommend it unconditionally!
Lovely patch "ticked all the boxes". It's located in a quiet, safe detour, ideal for if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. The place is stylish and comfortable, but especially welcoming. It is absolutely child-friendly. It's conveniently close to the sea, not on the beach so that your living area is under sand all the time, but also not kilometers away, absolutely a 10/10 for me.

Beautiful, neat apartment with very nice furniture and is tastefully decorated (Pumpkin). Suggestions: The shower looks very nice but it makes the floor very wet, maybe look at some type of curtain. Please provide ordinary cloths around tables etc. to wipe with. Put a door/gate between the door and the other flat's (Bloublasie) braai area for more privacy for both.
Hospitality, friendly, helpful and patient (with noisy guests like us) are synonymous with Wessel and Tertia. They go out of their way to make their guests' stay as pleasant as possible. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The accommodation itself is very neat and clean and well equipped. It was just a joy to vacation at a place with such a beautiful garden (Wessel's handiwork). Lieflappie is also walking distance to the beach and close to the shops. I can highly recommend Lielappie.
Tercia and Wessel were very friendly and hospitable. They made their garage available for our veteran car without any extra compensation. We felt welcome from the start. The accommodation was very neat and clean and within walking distance of the beach. We really enjoyed our stay.

Tercia and her husband went out of there way to make our stay as comfortable as possible and even offered us fresh lettuce from their garden! The establishment has everything you need to make your stay a pleasant one - even plastic cups and plates for the little people that travel with. The sherry and rusks are also a welcome treat! I wish this establishment everything of the best as they deserve it!

Lovely place in the coastal town of Stilbaai. The Potgieters welcomed us with open arms and made sure we had everything we needed for a peaceful Easter weekend. The apartment sleeps 6 people in 3 large rooms, each with comfortable beds, storage and space. There is an antechamber and a large dining table with a nice fireplace that heats up nicely and can simply be used for a braai. The place is literally down the road from the beautiful beach and it's also a stone's throw from the harbour, supermarket, shops and the nature reserve where you can walk along the beautiful coast. Thank you for a peaceful, beautiful Easter weekend. Will definitely go back again.
Tersia and Wessel are a very pleasant, faithful couple who welcomed us with open arms. They reminded us over the course of our stay that they were available in case there were any problems. Lieflappie is a very neat, pleasant accommodation and is situated in a very safe area close to beautiful, safe beaches and all of the essential facilities. When we departed we felt as though we were leaving two friends behind. We would love to stay at Lieflappie again and highly recommend it to anyone looking to escape the bustle of the city.
It's a beautiful place where you can relax. For a family, a washing machine and towels may be a void. But the place and people's friendliness is unbeatable.

My bridesmaids and I stayed in the unit together and Tercia went out of her way to make it extra special for me. Never experienced such hospitality. The place is very neat and the kitchen is equipped with more than you would find in a normal self-catering. Place very safe. Beautiful view from Pampoentjie's stoep and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Units do face main house which hinders privacy to some extent.
It was my wedding and Tercia went out of her way to make everything perfect for me and bridesmaids. She made us a special breakfast that was not part of our package. But she wanted to make me feel special. Everything very tidy and you are equipped with more than you would get at a normal self-catering. Place is very safe. It's Still Bay people - no theft or break-ins. Would recommend place for sure. Only a 5-minute walk from the beach and a beautiful view from Pampoentjie's stoep
