The cottage is beautiful and perfect for an overnight stay. Our two dogs were together and the courtyard was safe for them. Very nice stay!

It's so good to arrive at one's destination at the end of a long day of travelling and find everything one needs - a well-equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, a fireplace with wood, coffee, and milk! We had a very comfortable night in this tastefully decorated house.
The stay was really good. The cottage is beautiful and modern. It's perfect for a family. The cottage is centrally located and in walking distance of restaurants. We appreciated the personal touches and the snacks for the kids. The homemade ice tea was simply delicious and refreshing. Brad was a great host.
Will definitely go back again and want to stay at Light Shade Mountain again. Central, beautiful and well equipped.

Wow! What a delightful place - I wonder what stories the house can tell! We arrived on a cold afternoon to a warm reception by Brad. And the wood burning stove was a winner. The facilities are great and we had a wonderful stay. A word of thanks to the neighbour at no 48. Sometime during the night, he saw a 'comrade' inspecting my car and called the security company who came to investigate!

Had a nice stay and the coffee was a treat. Our host was very friendly and helpful. The backyard was lovely and could stretch out in the hammock. The cleaner might just peek under the beds. My daughter's teddy bear fell behind the bed and when we looked under the bed, the dust was bad under the bed and also on the mosquito nets where they touch the floor. If the cleaner could just tighten the fitted sheet too, felt like someone before us might have slept in it, although probably not. Might get a grater and pinch grill for grilling. And maybe charcoal tongs. But had a great time!

It was lovely after a long day of travelling to arrive greeted by friendly Brad and just to relax outside under the vine and swing in the hammock. The beds are very comfortable and well equipped to keep the mosquitoes away. Pop.
