Had a bad smell hanging in the air. The tiles are broken and the mattress needs to be changed.
The "farm lodge" is in fact a house that has been renovated into a backpackers and is not what I had envisaged as a "lodge" nor is it situated on a farm. The area wherein the accommodation is located is also not what I had had in mind when booking. Therefore, I decided not to stay at the "lodge" and booked alternative accommodation in a guesthouse near by.
We had a lovely stay with a kind host and clean rooms. Especially the kitchen we liked, well equipped and clean. Cozy living room. All good. A bit cold because we were there in the winter in august. Nice, quiet and safe.
While this avant garde house is not for everyone, it was perfect for me. Quirky clean huge safe surrounds with plenty characterful eateries, horses and other animals to see, clean huge pool to swim, so much going on. And all so conveniently placed in Pinelands.
The owner Hellen and her supervisor Angie was so friendly. We felt at home instantly when meeting them even the people who was cleaning the lodge. The environment was so friendly and gave us a warm welcome. We felt right at home.
What a great experience, I actually canceled my other accommodation to come back. Such friendly and welcoming staff, clean and safe, I felt very at home! Will definitely be back!
I have been there a couple of times now and what a nice clean place. Its my home away from home. The people overall very friendly; nice quite place in a perfect safe location. Loved my stay every time!

Staying at Lighthouse Farm Lodge is a great pleasure. Everyone so friendly and very neat. I was very impressed when I walked into the place in the late night hours. Once again thank you Lighthouse Farm Lodge staff for an unforgettable weekend. We'll definitely come again.
Number one is Mrs Helen and her staff, is a very friendly group. I will tell everyone to go there for a peaceful rest with happy hostesses and staff. Thank you all.
