Lily Rest is very good value for money in the east of Pretoria. All the necessary equipment is there for a comfortable stay. It is large enough that one does not feel trapped, and the separate sitting room and bedroom are handy for when one wants to enjoy some privacy (eg if one wants to watch TV and the other wants to read). The hostess we met is also a very pleasant person and on more than one occasion made sure we had everything we needed. The location is in a security area so safety is not an issue. There are also no stairs, which makes it easy for older people. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Hannelie and Anton received us very kindly and I had a nice stay. The place is neat and clean with everything you need. I would recommend that a closet be installed in the room and that the parking space be paved, which will prevent mud from being stepped into the apartment. An electric gate would also be an asset.
Nice stay. Parking needs attention. Gate is not locked. Feel somewhat unsafe. No protection for vehicle with e.g. do not hail
