Limestone House is an old farmhouse that was built in 1922 and located 7 km outside the town of Okahandja. Come and experience a real farm getaway at Limestone House, only 1 hour outside of Windhoek. As the house is set on a working farm, you can expect to see passing goats, cattle, horses, chickens and geese, dogs, and tractors.

The house can accommodate up to 12 guests and contains 3 bedrooms. The first front bedroom contains a queen-size bed. The second bedroom is a back room containing a double bed. The third bedroom is a bunk room containing 3 bunk beds and sleeping 6. Leading off the bunk room is an alcove room with a double bed.

There are 2 bathrooms located outside the house in a separate building. They each contain a shower, a toilet and a washbasin.

The kitchen is equipped for self-catering. The house has no electricity but has a working cold room, 2 gas rings, a gas freezer, and a coal stove to warm the house on winter nights. There are also battery-operated lanterns and oil lamps for lighting. There is a 6-seater dining table and chairs, and a cosy lounge area with blankets. Outside, there is a large covered verandah with plenty of seating and braai facilities.

The house is adjacent to a barn, waterhole and a small vegetable garden, which you are free to explore and use. Guests are welcome to take short walks in the veld.
