Lots to do and explore.
Delicious! The place is a "hidden gem"! It is ideal for cyclists and trail runners and within easy reach of Pretoria for a weekend. Houses are well equipped with swimming pools and no "load-shedding".
The house was clean and well laid out and the indoor fireplace was the best! We had all we needed and the fresh flowers were a special touch. The peace and tranquility are amazing, just you and the bush. We switched off from our busy lives and enjoyed the star-lit sky.
We have been visiting Lindani for 20 years. Lindani never disappoints. The accommodation is clean, tidy and very nice. We stayed in the Bush Camp. What a joy. There is a waterhole right in front of the house where the game came to drink. Saw moose, giraffes, wildebeest, warthogs, kudus, zebras and baboons drinking. The field is beautiful with all the trees and green grass. A bonus was that we could take our dogs with us. Don't forget to order the delicious food from the Farm Kitchen. It's for dead food!
We had a very nice stay. The unit was comfortable and tidy and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back again.
The perfect getaway for a few days. Love the idea that one can explore the lodge in their own 4x4 vehicle. Great value for money.
Our first time in Maroela. It's relatively small, but with all the open space around it's still delicious.
One of our favorite places! Service is excellent and staff very friendly.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lindani (Maroela). The house was cozy and clean. We also loved seeing the animals roaming around. I would definitely visit again, perhaps to try out the other houses. I also liked that it was secluded and far away from the other houses. We (mostly) had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The only thing missing in terms of appliances, was a microwave, which we wanted to use to warm up some milk and make some popcorn, but we managed okay without it.
One is free to explore the property and enjoy its beauty.

The Loft features free uncapped Wi-Fi, ceiling fans, solar power and gas geysers, an outside braai area, a patio furnished for outside dining, covered parking, and a private, fenced swimming pool with a toddler section. The campsite is situated at the base of a beautiful wooded 'krans', overlooking an expansive game-filled plain. There are 4 cleared sites for tents, a common braai area, an ablution block with lights, hot showers, toilets and hand basins, and a double sink with hot water. There are no plug points.
Lindani offers a number of activities, such as trail running, game viewing, and rock climbing, as well as lunches, sunset dinners and picnics to be booked by arrangement. A catering service is available from the Lindani Farm Kitchen.
