"Cleanliness, safety and delicious hot water."

Location is central. The residential area is clean. We could walk everywhere, were without a vehicle.

Linden Street is very centrally located in Swakopmund (Altstadt) and within walking distance of the beach, the jetty and shops. The alarm system is a big plus and provides peace of mind when you leave the accommodation. The adjoining properties all had alarm systems. The unit itself is spacious and adequate for two people, although I was a solo traveler. The unit was clean. There was no dish soap available and I had to go shopping. After my visit, I left the soap bottle there for the next visitors. It was noticeable that no cars were parked overnight on the streets in the immediate vicinity. It is recommended that one parking space be provided behind a locking gate on the lot in front of the dwelling unit. There is sufficient space for that. More visitors will then visit the property. There was no WiFi available and the availability of WiFi will be a further attraction.

Secure parking only available if main house residents are not at home. Bathroom inconvenient. Shower glass window so close to toilet that it is difficult to use toilet sitting down. Shower water goes to the floor and not to the outlet. Wouldn't it actually be considered self-catering but overnight accommodation? No Wi-Fi.

The self-catering unit is advertised as "Linden Street". On the street name and on the GPS there is only a "Lindin Street" - as in Lindin tree. It's confusing. If I didn't have a photo of the place to stay, I would have kept looking for "Linden Street".

Very good location, neat. Ideal for a night or two if you don't want to make food yourself.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was wonderful to be able to have the dogs with me as well. I would, however, recommend putting a stove in as it is advertised as self-catering. It was beautifully clean and cosy.

We went to/from the beach a lot, in the desert and Naukluft park, it was nice to come "home".

Swakopmund is one of the few destinations in Namibia that can really be described as dog-friendly to some extent. I had to travel for work and decided to take my dog with me and both the accommodation and the town made the trip pleasant for both man and animal.

The place is centrally located, clean and tidy. Nice and small and cozy for just 2 people. I would have just put in a two plate stove for if one wants to stay longer than just a weekend.

It was incredibly enjoyable because it had everything that was needed. And it was very convenient because it was so close to everything, namely the sea and the shops that were within walking distance.
