This is my 2nd booking at the Lindley Hotel and their service and hospitality is wonderful and friendly. Rooms are beautiful in the historic hotel. One appreciates the effort that is being made to preserve the place for the future. There is space for functions and weddings. Would advise everyone to sleep there and support the place.
Wonderful and comfortable place and the food is delicious. Great to have such a place in our small towns in South Africa.

Friendly welcome and given a delicious plate of cooked food with apple pie for dessert. Perfect place to stay when traveling in the Eastern Free State.

We had a great time there. The hotel has been beautifully restored. Courtyard reminiscent of a French Chateau! Rooms are tastefully and very creatively furnished. Every corner of the hotel offers a surprise. Most beautiful wooden furniture. I will definitely visit the hotel again but next time stay longer! Many thanks to the friendly hosts!

Lindley Hotel may just be a spot on a map, but there is so much history. The hotel itself has lots of stories and history. You are overwhelmed with friendliness and hospitality. Everything is clean, neat, quiet and peaceful. The hotel is restored with sand stone, wood and rocks from the area. It is such an incredible place, that you just want to go bank again and again. You experience a piece of history, mixed with modern finishes. Comfortable rooms with lovely bathrooms. Old mixed with modern. It is great for your soul. You can't miss it.
We got there late and were waited on and helped despite the cold. Clean, tidy, everything you need. Something different from the normal.
