Very comfortable house, I like the 4 bedrooms, nice space, unfortunately we had to take our own television with us - owner can please look into installing internet/wifi because about 100% of places that are let out have it included - missed it, I think the price per night is too much, they can look into it, because R700 cleaning fee has to be paid too. The liaison officer/caretaker is very friendly and helpful, was very satisfied with her and the house, very safe environment and peaceful.
Very nice house for rest by the sea, provided with all the basic needs.
There was no hot water in the shower, so had to have cold showers, which was very unpleasant. Hot water is somewhat of a priority. The house was not clean. I had to wash some of the pots, cutlery and some dishes. The tablecloth on the dining room table was also dirty. Considering we paid a cleaning fee of R750, I do not think that the house was cleaned properly before we arrived. There was only 1 refuse bag provided. Considering we booked for 3 days, I would have assumed at least 1 per day would have been provided. There was only 1 dish drying cloth which also seemed very little considering there were 7 people staying in the house. When that one drying cloth was wet, there was no spare one. The kitchen utensils do need an upgrade. They are very basic and there are not enough bowls for cooking and preparing meals. There was 1 x 100ml dishwashing liquid provided. Again, washing dishes for 7 people 3 x a day. Totally insufficient. There are loose bricks lying all over the back garden. Overall, the house has an air of complete neglect. It was rather a disappointing stay. I would not be recommending the house to anyone.
It was very nice, I enjoyed the silence and the children could walk to the beach. It was very safe.
My husband, myself, my daughter, son in law and 2 grandchildren rented Linga Longa. It had been an unforgettable experience. Linga Longa does not mean for nothing. "stay longer" not. We definitely wanted to stay longer. House has a fantastic location with the most beautiful sea view. House was neat and clean with enough fridge and freezer space. Everything you might need is there. The grandchildren played wonderfully in the large yard and turtles, pheasants and other birds often came to visit. The dartboard and pool table were also great fun. In the evenings we had a nice barbecue in the outdoor barbecue and watched the most beautiful sunsets. Will definitely come here again for a holiday. The owner David is also very friendly and helpful and you can contact him at any time.
We really enjoyed our stay in Pearly Beach, peaceful settlement where you can spend quality family time. Linga Longa accommodated 4 adults and 4 children with ease. The pool table and dart board kept the kids entertained for hours and the nice big lawn works great to get rid of pent-up energy. If you are looking for luxury accommodation with "bells & whistles" Linga Longa is probably not going to meet all your needs, but if you are comfortable with the basics that are clean and functional, then the house is a very good option. Charmaine and her husband provided excellent support and are literally only 2 minutes away.
Old geyser system was a huge problem and for the price I feel that the place can be more modernised.
Overall stay was nice, but problems with hot water.
We really enjoyed it, it was awesome!
Place was very pleasant. Just wasn't raving about the gas geyser. That's just my personal opinion, I'm not crazy about gas. But otherwise everything was perfect and very good service.
It is very good to do business with you.
