Have been coming here a few times over the past few years and always feel relaxed knowing that I feel well-catered for. The rooms are clean and well-furnished with self-catering facilities which are always great to know. There is a swimming pool which was also great and the gardens well kept. The management was very friendly and understanding and very helpful with all my needs. Would return as feel at home coming here.

Perfect accommodation for one night as we did not want to travel during the night. My son and I felt safe and comfortable, the units are very neat. The guest house went out of its way to accommodate us with a freshly cooked breakfast the next morning even though it was not pre-booked. Will definitely recommend the guest house if you need to sleep over for a short period.
The reception was friendly and the room tidy. We slept in room 3, with 2 double beds and a spacious and clean en-suite bathroom.

The only recommendation I have is that they don't specifically ask you how your eggs must be done. So first morning was scrambled, the next morning was soft sunny side up. I can just imagine someone that likes their eggs in a specific way will have a problem with this, however it was not a problem for me.

My husband and I visited Johannesburg in April 2021, and decided to stay at Linga Langa. What a pleasant experience! The room was extremely clean, and so cosy. While we were going home, the car gate was broken, and we damaged our car with the broken gate. The owners handled this issue very professionally, and were very empathetic with our situation. They handled everything regarding the insurance, and within a few weeks everything was sorted. We would definitely stay here again. See you soon
No desk or workspace in the room. The dividing wall between my room and the room next to it was so thin that the wall moved when the person next to it moved on the bed and all talk and the TV could be clearly heard. On arrival the key was handed to me and I was shown where the room was, but no explanation of for example where it was, how the WiFi worked etc. I was not provided with any invoice nor was I asked if I required one. It is also the last time I saw the management/staff and no inquiries were made during my stay to hear if everything was alright. The sliding gate at the entrance car did not work from arrival to departure and the gate had to be opened by hand. The small fridge is on the right side of the bed and is a nuisance when it turns on and the car is running. There is no bedside lamp/reading lamp of any kind. The tile floor from the bedroom in the bathroom cracks badly when you walk on it. The traffic in the street that runs past the house can be very noisy in the evening. The DStv available is very limited (who wants to watch four football channels and no other sports?) and the TV is the size of a computer screen. Although the room was clean, it had the appearance of something found in the Malawian or Mozambican countryside. I have no idea how this guest house got a Tourist Board 4 star rating. I'm not full of nonsense, but travel a lot (locally and across Africa) and know what to expect and receive.
Particularly loved the shower. Unfortunately never stayed for breakfast. But will definitely be back.
It was a very pleasant experience to be able to spend the night here. Beautiful garden overlooking a well maintained garden. Comfortable, convenient, close to the church, shops and quiet and peaceful.

We stayed two nights between our holiday and flight to Europe. We had a lovely time there, clean room, very good breakfast, friendly staff and owners. We can recommend it to everyone.
Was a comfortable and peaceful place to stay.
Clean and neat, but we didn't get the room that we booked because there were already other people in our room. The bed creaked and should be replaced, but other than that, no issues.
Linga Longa Guest House is a very beautiful, clean and their interior decor is very exquisite. The company was very friendly and welcoming and attended to me if I wanted to inquire about something. The place is for relaxation, peaceful as my stay was for relaxation, indoor and yet fun. The swimming pool was clean and the gardening was a beautiful sight too. Keep it up. The only thing I saw as an inconvenience was that in the rooms there are no tableware (plates, utensils, saucers, etc) provided, because even if you do not request breakfast, at least there should be a set of plates, utensils for guests doing takeaways or eating out as an option. But that was not a biggie, my stay was pleasing.
My daughter and I were very satisfied with our stay at Linga Longa. I just don't think they should advertise it as Bed and Breakfast when there is no breakfast as it may mislead some people.
