After a sumptuous breakfast, simply laze around the pool, all the while keeping an eye on the waterhole. The afternoon bush walk with the lions will leave guests thirsty and ready for sundowners at our beautiful little bar under the giant Huilboerboon. Dinner will be served in the boma or on the lodge verandah.

We are raising white lion cubs to educate people to the plight of not only the white lion but all lions. The African Lion has become vulnerable. Following the discovery of the decline of the lion population, several coordinated efforts involving lion conservation have been organised in an attempt to stem the decline. We are proud to be part of this effort. Experience the thrill of walking with our white lions and interacting with them. Other activities include game drives, bush walks, day trips to the Kruger National Park in open vehicles and boat rides on the Blyde dam where you get to see our famous canyon from the inside. The Moholoholo animal rehabilitation centre is a must see as is the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre. The Panorama Route is an easy drive from Lion Tree Top Lodge as is the Kruger National Park.

We could relax and West made as feel as home.
The lodge owners received us warmly and made our 30th wedding anniversary really special. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food delicious. Would recommend this beautiful place to anyone.
Great experience and great food and service. Would go again.
Atmosphere and tents are great. Food is not acceptable, and very little attention is paid to preparing and serving food that suits the camp. I suggest you take your own can of tuna and mayonnaise because that's what you'll be served. Giving a can of tuna as a starter and watered down curry mince on a Saturday night is certainly not what you expect. The price that includes meals is definitely not worth the money. The lions are no longer cubs and are already 5 years old. The photos on the website are misleading and not all the photos are of the same lodge, so you may have an expectation that you will not get. I would definitely not suggest this as a place to stay in the future.
Awesome place, highly recommended.
Wonderful hospitality from West and Gill. Wish we rather stayed in the tented chalets. Better equipped and prefer to stay in units of people who accomodate you. The "Leeuloop" was also a breathtaking experience. Theank you very much Uncle West and Auntie Gill.
