Was pleasant. Room just small with no ashtray. Restaurant and bar handy.
Very pleasant stay. Staff are always friendly. Room was very comfortable, tidy. Couldn't ask for more. Would recommend if you need accommodation in the Loskop Valley. Great restaurant at the guesthouse.

The guest house is clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. We will definitely stay at Lion's Guesthouse again in the future. Thank you very much!
Friendly reception and very nice rooms.
Reception was good. First impressions from the outside were very good. Room unfortunately not clean. Not dusted on shelves for a long time. Shower full of old water stains, shower head is dirty and the mold is thick on the top of the shower. The noise from the staff (I suspect it's staff as it's an outside building right behind our room) was such that I couldn't get to rest here until close to midnight. Restaurant we first had to complain about the dirty cutlery as well as the place mats that were full of food. The small plate I had was sticky on the bottom. Furthermore, there was the most unkind music that we requested twice to modify, turn off or turn it down ourselves, but it all fell on deaf ears until I got hard about this. During breakfast we were the only ones there, and therefore felt that the music could be turned down. The food was well prepared and the waiter who served us went out of his way to make everything better. For the price and how the ad looks I am very disappointed.
It was the second time that we've stayed at Lion's Guest House. We had both supper and breakfast. The food was excellent and of the highest standard. The rooms were neat and clean and we slept soundly. We will definitely see you again next year when we have to stay over in Groblershoop. Thank you so much! This guest house can definitely be recommended!

I can recommend the Lions Guest House anytime. Oh it was lovely to stay there and we really enjoyed the breakfasts that were served.

Expected much more for R750 than 2 single beds and a room that is not even nice at all! I'm sure we were thrown into 1 of the "budget" rooms. Quite a disappointment. The place is never ever seeing me again! Extremely bad accommodation with absolutely no value for money. Would not recommend at all!
