It was really a very nice and peaceful place to spend the long weekend. We really enjoyed the pool in the hot weather and it was so nice to be able to experience all the animals that came to eat at our place. We were only a little disappointed in the barbecue facilities. We feel that it could really be given more attention.

Was a great stay, but it could get better if they could install electricity backup, water backup, and a carport in this scorching heat.

Seeing the magnificent house with its modern design, we opened the beautiful front door to a spacious open-plan area with stacker doors to the stoep and pool. Exactly like the pictures! Exhausted after a whole day of travelling I decided to take a shower. Not only was the shower completely blocked, there was no travel soap, shampoo or conditioner. It was after this that I realized this beautiful house was ill-equipped to make our stay special. The house was completely void of any cleaning equipment - no broom, mop, or any cleaning products - such as a small supply of dishwashing liquid. One toilet roll per bathroom for 5 days. The blinds in my room were completely broken and cannot open at all. This morning the electricity ran out - no matches to light the gas stove for coffee. Actually, Lionsview has no loadshedding support except for one charged light. No candles either. Last night the stacker doors would not lock - we needed to get security to lock it for us from the outside. This morning I unlocked it and without any extra force, the key broke off in the lock. Luckily we spent most of our time away from the house. Coming from Cape Town where we know how important excellence is for tourism, this was really a challenging experience.

We had a hiccup visiting this time as the house wasn't ready (due to some system failure) the security guy wouldn't hand over the keys and I found him to be abrupt and rude, but the owner did her best to rectify the mistake on her side and luckily the house was available. This is why I can't rate it clean and customer service lower. Putting this aside, the house is in a quiet place, lots of animals visit and the staff were friendly. Will still return a third time.

Lovely venue with a beautiful pool and patio area. A unique and tranquil stay. We could hear the lions roaring on night two which was sublime. The aircon and fans were definitely an asset in the heat. A backup torch was supplied for load shedding. Unfortunately, the towels were dirty and the general cleaning needs to be addressed. The fridge shelves need to be cleaned properly and they did not stay cold. The kitchen needs a wine bottle opener and a pair of scissors. I would stay again but I will definitely take my own towels.

It was really a very beautiful place. I would definitely stay at Lionsview Private Lodge - 4 Lions, 4 Sleeper again. If I could change one thing it would be where we had to pick up the key (Field Security). The staff have no manners at all and do not know how to make you feel at home.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lionsview Private Lodge-4 Lions. Accommodation was clean and spaceous and location was quiet. The only downfall we experienced was having no TV during the rainy days. I would definately re-book accommodation at Lionsview Private Lodge - 4 Lions.

We had a really nice stay at Lionsview and were grateful for the air conditioning in the rooms. The unit has everything you need and the kudus came to say hello every night. Would not stay anywhere else in Marloth again!

There was a problem with the fridge though. He didn't want to cool the things at all, everything was hot all the time. You put the cold drink in the freezer that night, you take it out tomorrow morning, then at least it's cold but it doesn't even freeze up. And then there were just an awful lot of cobwebs behind the curtain and the place where you pack your clothes. Other than that it was very nice and a very nice place.

The house is very cutely laid out with exactly what you need, nothing unnecessary! The many windows make the house light and when the large sliding door is open it is as if the house merges into the forest. Beautiful animal guests, a bit shyer than other parts of Marloth. This house is absolutely perfectly located away from the traffic and crowds and has become my favorite area in Marloth!

Loads of animals came to visit us, its very quiet and peaceful, you really get to reconnect with nature. We were there with our young kids and they enjoyed it as well. We definitely recommend Lionsview Private Loge as a place of choice.

This unit is a little gem with everything you need for a relaxing trip. The unit is well equipped, clean, and contains everything you need.

The house gas was finished. So the gas stove and geyser did not work. Couldn't make breakfast on Sunday morning and guests had to take a cold shower. It's unacceptable.
