12 guests' feedbackI liked the self check-in because we came after 8pm from the Music Festival in Alice. The host sent us clear directions on where to find the key and how to open the cottage. She even informed us to watch out for the potholes and cattle on the main road to Hogsback, since we were going to travel in darkness. The cottage is cosy, neat and clean. The host's response to my message was outstanding. My husband was very happy with the accommodation.
While we only stayed overnight, we were impressed by the cleanliness and size of the rooms. The location is beautiful and ideally placed if one wants to go hiking or birding in the Hogsback Arboretum.
Eastern Cape road trip. Very nice stay here. Plenty of space for children and a great place to hangout for grown-ups.
Fantastic. Beautiful gardens. Quiet environment. Nice to see Cape parrots in the wild. Accommodation very comfortable.
The unit was fully equipped as a self-catering unit. The self check-in function was efficient. The unit is perfect, centrally located in Hogsback. Will definitely stay there again. The only recommendation is possibly screens in front of all the windows as monkey visitors like to hang out - risk if windows are left open as the monkeys are very active and will carry away food and possessions.
The accommodation was clean and very accessible. The people were also really helpful. The only thing lacking is a dustbin, but otherwise a well appointed cottage in a beautiful setting, didn't see much because it was misty but a lovely place to stay.
Lovely clean unit - sufficiently furnished for an overnight stay. Spacious shower, hot water. Beautiful well maintained garden. I have to add that we were not adequately dressed for opening and closing the farm gates, it was rather muddy. Could I suggest to add more gravel where visitors need to pass through?
Neat inside the house but outside and garden need attention.
We could not get hold of the hosts and had to rely on Beauty the cleaning lady. She was most pleasant.
Wonderful one night stay at Liquid Amber, everything was lovely.
Very clean, private and quiet.
The guest house is very central and nany restaurants, activities and attractions.
