This place is tucked away from the casino even though you are close to it. It's quiet, very cosy and so well planned out with all the things it has in the place. Would definitely go back there.
The house is clean, tidy and we had a nice stay. The noise - very loud music - from the boat picking up guests near the house soured things.

What a fantastic long weekend! This was beyond our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we just rested. The boat's entrance is private and secure. Parking is very safe. The boat is very stylishly furnished with plenty of space. It was wonderful to be in nature like this, and only an hour from Gauteng. I would definitely do it again, and definitely recommend.
The staff are so friendly, it really felt like you were meeting family. One does not want to go home. This is the ideal place if you want to recharge your batteries.
We had a great time, went fishing and celebrated my husband's 50th birthday as a family. Can definitely recommend the venue.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The houseboat is lovely, has luxurious finishes and all the equipment and amenities you could wish for. The view is incredible and it's very peaceful and relaxing on the water. Checking in and out couldn't be easier, the staff are warm and friendly.

The houseboat is an experience, the staff are very helpful and really value for money. We were 7 adults and 3 children and there was no cramming. The amenities are more than adequate, nothing lacking. I just want to thank Liquid Living again for their hospitality.
Wow! What an amazing week, the kids had so much fun and they loved it. Place was very modern, and very clean, I just loved everything about the house boat. I would recommend it to anyone that needs a peaceful break, you will not be sorry.
From the start the people were quick to get back with answers to questions, Ryan called before we checked in, the unit is clean with everything one could need on a getaway, everything is done professionally and on a dealt with in a prompt manner, we were there for a sports event in Vereeniging and it was very nice to come back to the unit in the afternoon and experience the tranquility and just relax, many thanks to Liquid living for a wonderful experience .
We received much more than we expected, the houseboat has everything needed and is luxuriously furnished. Beautiful view of the water and unforgettable sunsets. At night mosquitoes can be troublesome, provide insect repellent. Bedrooms could do with a mirror where ladies can apply makeup and style their hair. It was a great family getaway.
The houseboat is another experience. When the river is busy with other boats, the house rocks with the waves. It's quite different, but it's nice. Very clean and neat with nice hot water and aircon / heaters in the room. It is close to shopping centres and eateries. Perfect place for a quiet and peaceful getaway or a weekend with some friends.
Nothing is too much trouble for these people and they go out of their way to make it pleasant. Will highly recommend it to everyone I know. Thank you for your hospitality.

We chose the wrong weekend. It was very cold, the wind blew freezing cold we couldn't even sit on the deck. I would recommend you put some of those roll-up sails on deck, then you can also use that area if it's that cold. Other than that, you can't really complain. The boathouse is beautiful. It's big, very comfortable. If there is It's really an experience that everyone should experience. A few things that will make it even better. Those packets of coffee, tea and sugar like at other lodges. If the boat could drive on dam or if there was a smaller boat on the side at your disposal to be able to use to drive around. The stinky smell of the septic tank. If a boat passes by and makes waves and the houseboat shakes a little then a smell comes through inside the house which is very bad. That's all I can think of. You really have an awesome idea with the houses. It was very nice for us. We will definitely recommend the place to everyone we know.

I will recommend this place to anyone! The owners went out of their way to make it as comfortable and convenient as possible for us! 110% for service! It is in a beautiful are and very tranquil.
Ons het in een van die permanente huisboote gebly en dit wat absoluut stunning. Die huis is pragtig binne en het alles wat mens nodig het, soos per hulle beskrywing. Dit is geleë direk op die oewers van die Vaalrivier wat so bietjie koud is in die winter, maar dit het ons avontuur net soveel meer opwindend gemaak het. Die bestuurder op diens, Ryan is 'n absolute ster en help graag met enige snaakse versoeke of as mens nie seker is oor enige iets nie. Ons het ons verblyf baie geniet en gaan definitief weer teruggaan.
Die huis het alles was ons nodig het. Ons verblyf was baie gerieflik. Daar was net een probleem: ons water het Sondagoggend opgeraak.
