Very nice and close to the sea and small grocery store for all the usual necessities.
We had such a tranquil experience! Starting with a warm welcome from the owner and a quick run down of the place, the flat itself was clean, spacious and had all the basic necessities one needs. Such a lekker surprise opening the fridge to find a refreshment and a bottle of milk (I think my first word was "!"). The light that travels through the room, including the sea breeze, was much to be desired. As explorers, we enjoyed taking a short walk to the beach and spending lots of time there, to come back and be able to braai peacefully and quite literally, 'Listen to the Waves'. 100% coming back!
We had a wonderful stay, just a pity the TV didn't work at all.
Unit was well appointed, neat and very clean. Very friendly welcome and ensured that buckets of water and 5l of drinking water were available when there was a problem (of short duration) with the municipality's supply.
At Listen to the Waves, you can actually hear the waves. Not only hear, but also through the neighbours' palm tree branches you see the pure white dune and waves. Mattress was fantastic! Owners changed towels and bed linen regularly. Very neat and clean.

Listen to the Waves is a very neat and peaceful place. Ideal if you are out all day seeing places and only return in the late afternoon. The ocean view made it easy to determine if it would be a good day for the beach. We had a great stay and the friendly reception and service was also very good. Thanks to the owners.

The place was exactly what my wife and I wanted on our first wedding night. We could come and go as we pleased. We could also walk to the sea, the sea was very close. The uncle who received us was very friendly and made no noise about our late arrival. It was quiet and private for a man and a woman. It was well directed and safe. There was DStv, the full package - sports and ales. There was no WiFi, but that wasn't a problem. But we could relax and listen to the sea. There was coffee and tea, sugar, salt, pepper, breakfast biscuits, soap, shower gel, two sweets and letters. There was a gas stove for Loadshedding and a hot plate for cooking and a kettle. Well, there wasn't an iron rod, but that wasn't a problem, because we were there to relax. There was everything we needed for our honeymoon. There were books to read to relax on the two couches that were there. Thank you, thank you for the hospitality.

The hosts are really lovely people and went out of their way to make me welcome and to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Good location. Shops, laundromat and beach within a five minute walk. Safe neighbourhood.
Very well equipped and the little things that were done extra made you feel at home. Everything was clean and tidy and there was nothing missing. A wonderful place where you can just relax and breathe again.
Loadshedding and water interruption not fault of host. Close enough to beach to walk there. Walk to shop and club for food and eats. Drive to mall and restaurants acceptable too.

The unit is comfortable and well equipped with a nice braai area. However, air conditioning would have been welcome. The off street parking mentioned in the advertisement is misleading as it is only on the sidewalk and not behind a gate.
Fantastic place. Clean, friendly. Always clean towels that are put out and clean bed linen. Would definitely go back again for a visit, just a shame it can't take 4 people, would have liked to have taken my kids along.
Maryke and Sakkie were very helpful and nice. I am not sure if it was the mother who came and, without introducing herself, asked how many people we were. We explained that our kids and grandchildren from Atlantis came to greet us. We did not know at that stage that one of the rules was that no kids are allowed. She could have handled it in a better manner.

The flat is very clean and neat. Owner goes to a lot of trouble to make her guests feel at home and to ensure that everyone is comfortable. Perhaps the description can just make it a bit clearer that it's a bachelors flat and not a house. Otherwise we had a good stay and will recommend it to anyone wanting to go to Melkbos for a little while.
A lot of passion, effort and thoroughness were put into the renovation of this place. It's perfect for two people and had every necessity. It is close to the beach which is perfect for swimming. The owners are stunning people and spoilt us with changing the towels and linen regularly. It's an awesome place to go on holiday! We were very comfortable and it's tranquil. The place forms part of the main house but it is still very private. It was sad that we had to leave after such a lovely time there. Thank you for your hospitality and friendliness. I believe that you will have great success, your service is excellent! I highly recommend this place. It's neat and beautiful inside. We will definitely visit again! Keep up the good work!
