The pods are very luxurious. The view is something special. The hot tub is very simple to use and nice. The pods are clean and the service is great.
Peace and tranquillity are the order of the place, with a magnificent view giving you a private space to be free.
Absolutely fantastic view! I think the sun might be a problem if you want to snooze in the afternoon as the roof is glass, but at night the stars were amazing.
If I really have to find fault, it would only be that the privacy between units is not great, and the shade on the patio is lacking, and the generator is too close to the units.
It was amazing, made full use of the hot tub, stunning views.
It was a great stay all in all. The farm offers nice walks and a dam to swim in. The wine farm's restaurant is closed, but other food places are in the area. A few things to note: there was no coffee plunger or coffee-making machine (percolator or Nespresso machine). This was a letdown for people who don't like instant coffee. The aircon didn't do much in the cabin during the day, so when it's 35 degrees outside, the cabin is a boiling room. There should be a standing fan in the cabin to be used at night (they advise not to use the aircon during the night due to solar power - this is also not great due to the heat even in the night) and to prevent the infestation of flies, which is common to the area. Some sunbed loungers should be available, as the chairs on the deck can't be moved.
The pods are really beautifully made and constructed. However, the fridge is quite noisy. A few small details will elevate them to the next level - maybe provide decent coffee and not Ricoffee, provide enough wood for the hot tub/fireplace, and better bathroom products, such as shower gel.
The pod was modern and clean. Views from the hot tub and bedroom were beautiful. The pod gets very hot during the day even with the aircon on. It is not secluded and private with other pods close by. Will be a nice spot for winter.
Very dissapointing. We were so looking forward to this treat, but what a letdown. Little to no service, incorrect codes. Asked for more wood to keep the pod warm, but it never arrived. Had to go search for a padstal to buy our own. One toilet roll, no door on the bathroom, and no towels for the jacuzzi. We had to bring our own, but they never told us. All in all, not worth it.
We had a lot of wind so we could not use the outside facilities. A pity! We missed relaxing chairs.
Hypermodern place to stay. Very neat. Beautiful view. The glass roof is fantastic. But it also has its disadvantages during the day especially in the summer.
Too hot when we arrived, could not survive in the house. No windows were left open, so we had to wait for 6 hours before we could enter the house and sleep. The hot tub was far too hot to get in. The next day was too windy to put on a braai or go in the hot tub. Why are the chairs outside nailed to the floor (so you cannot move them to sit outside in the wind)? The water in the shower did not gently go through the drain; it was blocked. So we could not have a proper shower, as it took quite some time to get the water warm enough to enjoy. Therefore, we left a day earlier. Disappointed.
